I never said it had to last for a long time :p as long as all parties are satisfied, who cares how much energy was expended/how long it lasts :wallbash:

And Shiara and Loki are women, not men. Both with fiancées/as good as :p

MTS, aren't you young?
Aren't you supposed to have more energy?

I'm 20 in about a month. That's no biggy for me, I was just saying I could see it tiring someone closer to 30.

I go away for a couple of hours and WTF???

@Centz
I could introduce you to some of the guys I will be working with but I only know 1 person so far that will be at the same base as me in 2011. He's taken. Plus the rest will be AJs, and thus fail certain criteria.

I say go lesbo. And film it. Everyone wins! :p

@DW
Thanks for the positive write-up. I think. :p

So if we can organise a delivery guy to drop off beer and food you'll take it from there? Sounds like a movie i saw this one time :p

Also that would be a cool phone call...."hello i need some things delivered...also i have a list of requirements for the delivery person" HA HA

December 22d is your shortest day of the year I think. Or the 21st, I can't remember which one. Winter Solstice.

opposite here, getting light early and staying light til about 7pm (that is late for us)

stupid QLD doesn't have daylight saving because we have a backwards government and lots of old people who don't understand how clocks work :p

I love daylight savings. It was light enough to play cricket at 8:30 last night. Glorious.

DST is stupid. I loathed having to go home from school in a hot school bus at effectively 2:30pm rather than 3:30pm, when it's still the hottest part of the day. We just do not need another fucking hour of daylight in the evening in Australia in summer. The only people who like it are city bred people who only want to go to the beach after work or something like that ... I just can't fathom the logic of having it in summer instead of maybe winter.

Sorry to the guys previous in this thread who like it, but it's true.

Well, I like it, but I'll be the first to say that we don't need it, that much is true. The idea that it saves energy and makes stores more money hasn't been effectively shown at all, and even when studies have shown a positive, it's really quite negligible.

Although in your school analogy Sombra what difference is an hour making when the sun is so high in the sky? A few degrees at most I imagine. Cool change doesn't usually come until a fair bit later in the afternoon, like 5 or 6. Besides, at any time in the summer afternoon 30+ kids in a school bus will be hot and stinky, there's no escaping that.

Trust me, it made a difference. Whether or not that was purely psychosomatic we'll never know.

Made it harder to get to sleep too (as a kid going to bed around 9pm), as your body was saying it wasn't time to go to bed when the clock was saying it definitely WAS time.

Basically it's designed for city businesses. Which is all well and good, I just wish the Govt and chamber of commerce etc would stop lying and trying to sell it to us that it's somehow for our own benefit.

I just like to be not woken up at 5am by the sun :p I don't care either way really, I just wish QLD didn't have to be different, makes it quite annoying in business and at work.... and for banking.

Never mind those inconveniences, I just find it rather hilarious that along the NSW-QLD border towns it can be 2:30 on one side of the road and 3:30 on the other side. Makes no sense.

I disagree. I like when they adjust it so that it's not pitch black when I get up in the morning in the winter.

Esp this winter in Winnipeg. the lack of sun in the morning was seriously messing with my groove until they set the clocks back.
