Just Cause 1 and 2 on Steam for £2 and £5, respectively. Just today though, but I missed the Christmas sale for 2, so I blagged it.
Also I almost got Deus Ex GOTY edition for £5.99 but I still have my original CD case around here somewhere, I don't care if it'll run smoother or have multiplayer!

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

It looks pretty fucked up. I wonder if those graphics are the ingame animation, if that is the case the game is going to be horrifically beautiful.
I wonder what genre they are going for. Silly action like Dead Rising. Or survival horror ala Resident Evil and Dead Space?
I'm calling it, the plot is that somebody put a super secret bio lab under a vacation island and something went wrong.

It looks like it is leaning towards survival horror.

The screenshots look like it's made around 2005... It actually very much reminds me of a strategy game that came out around that time, maybe even earlier, which had some nice ideas (sieges, formations, alignment based super units (massive demon for going evil, an angel for going good, and some supercannon iirc for going techie) in early 3D and which played like shite.
Cyanide... Blood Bowl is about the only game they truly delivered (its predecessor Chaos League wasn't too bad)... so I fear GRRM just signed up with them because they offered him more than anyone else in the way of dollarz.

I saw it only today. If Bioware gets 1.000.000 downloads of the demo before march 1, they will also release extra in-game goodies to pre-purchasers.

I'm waiting for the release of DA2 because I'm sure the week up to it, DA:Origins Ultimate Edition will come on Sale on Steam and I can finally find out what all the fuss is about. Then spend a year waiting for DA2 to fall in price...

11th of march, I think.
That will make my game schedule even tighter... 4th Retribution, 11th DAO:2, 15th Shogun 2. Ouch.

Your news, it pleases me.
I'm downloading it whilst working so i can get to it tonight.
The only negative i've heard is there seems to be a lot more button mashing during combat than the first.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Not to mention Portal2, which is due in April.
Also, I just bought Psychonauts at GOG.com on cheap. And Just Cause 2 at the Square Enix sale at Steam. Both of which I've promised myself not to play until I hand in my master come May. You may start betting on my failure now.

Mwah. I took a rogue to try it out, and cooldowns on their meelee abilities are a lot lower, that is true, so you can press more buttons. However, the second I took over the mage, it was waiting, waiting, waiting for cooldowns to be finished yet again. I'd say you probably get more abilities, though.
