It's Hellpoint week, finally!

Since Finishing Halo 2 + 3 been taking it easy. The "Dead Space/System Shock meets Dark Souls" is out on Thursday and it's already sitting on my GOG shelf, so I'll probably just check out some more demos in the meantime.

For anyone who cherishes and looks for incredible photo mode in your games. You have to play Ghost of Tsushima.

You guys remember how great photo mode was in God of War? and Horizon Zero Dawn? Well the photo mode in GoT (<not Game of Thrones, you thilly gthooses Posted Image) is as good, and one could say even better, than those games. Lets all play Ghost of Tsushima and make great memories with or photos. If it is popular enough, maybe eve a ded thred for it? Wouldn't that be fun?

It's so much better because events are marked in much more subtle ways in-game, instead of the standard reveal of new areas or immersion breaking panoramic shots. Seeing people returning to camps, clearing them and rebuilding is really satisfying.

Everything in the game seems to be aimed at being as non invasive as possible.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Supposedly it's a good 3D metroidvania with psychic powers.

Control got a pretty good critical reception last year but personally I didn't like it that much (Despite finishing it).

It's a solid third person shooter with a cool, weird atmosphere. But I thought the world building was half-baked and the combat options were a bit too limited. I didn't like the weapon system. Also dying and reloading was a real hassle. First of all the load times are atrocious, especially when you keep dying over and over because you're trying to complete a jumping puzzle but on top of that you respawn at checkpoints which, like souls games, can be few and far between. It just sucks all the fun out of the game dying and spending three minutes getting back to where you where, then dying again and again and...

Just being a good friend, talking a good buddy back from the ledge. He had a bad day.

some background: this was a weird one, obviously a glitch, because these deer flee you like you are a bear with a bazooka that shoots more bears. I was all like, wtf! and damn, what great timing for this glitch to happen.

PlayStation event announced for this Thursday. Unfortunately it's focused on PS4 and VR.

Wouldn't mind a PSVR2 tease.

The world building is half baked? To me that was by far the strongest aspect of the game.

I found it flimsy and limited.

All the supernatural stuff seemed limited to sympathetic thaumaturgy, quirky stuff that had material anchors.

I'm watching the latest "War table" about the upcoming Avengers game. I still hate most of the characters design, primarily their ugly faces and character models, but the gameplay actually looks really solid if you're into the modern concept of"live games". I hope that over time they lean more into comic book Avengers.

I want to check out the open beta next weekend but I think I may actually want to buy into this if the reviews are positive.

Spiderman, a base part of the game, is a Playstation exclusive. Not Playstation can pay more to get spiderman or anything, but a base part of the game is cut out for xbox and PC.

I will not support the Avengers game, even though it looks like something I would enjoy.

Eh. There's a large character roster. Sony owns the rights. Spider-Man is not a "base part" of the Avengers. He's a hang around.

It is. I loved the art style.

Have you tried out Cadence of Hyrule? That was even better.

Oh, ffs.

Sony owns feature film rights to Spiderman.

That's it. They have no other IP clout.

Stop perpetuating this weird myth.

Sony is paying a pretty penny extra to give their version "extra value" & trying to associate Spider-Man (one of the most popular super heroes ever) with their console.

But they don't own any rights to decide what games he can, or can't be in.
