Steamdeck is a mini computer. It can run steam obviously but it can also run epic games, origin games, emulated games etc.

Stadia died because its just playing games run off the cloud. They are turning off the servers and so stadia doesnt exist anymore.

You may one day lose your steam access if steam somehow went bankrupt but the steamdeck would still work. Stadia is promising people refunds for the hardware and game purchases though.

Apparently Gotham knights sucks. Not too surprised. The more gameplay I saw the more underwhelming it seemed. Coop doesn’t fix bad games. It elevates good games.

Sometimes co-op can make an otherwise middling or bad game amazingly fun - Wolfenstein Youngblood would have SUCKED as a single player game, but as a co-op, holy shit that game was dumbass fun.

VERY fine line, though. Easy to tip too far the wrong way.

Game Awards are coming, and should be bringing news

Dragon Age 4, the next Star Wars Jedi game, Baldur's Gate III, and Final Fantasy XVI release date trailer possibly.

Might get less AA trailers though, which would be a shame tho.

"Scars Above" is out on Feb 28th

A little under two hours until the Xbox Developer Direct goes live.

Not really sure what to expect. Supposedly Bethesda is the focus. There'll be no Starfield presentation but definitely more Redfall. I wonder what else? Indiana Jones? Quake?

More broadly I'm hoping for some Fable or Gears 6 news

Though the new rhythm action game from Tango was a (leaked) surprise.

Redfall is coming out May 2nd, may check it out via GamePass.

Dead Space is reviewing really well, but i can't justify spending that much on a somewhat
improved version of a game I can still play.

Forspoken seems to not be doing super-well. I downloaded the demo, need to check it out at some point, but that price tag is hefty, I'll be looking out for a sale in the 40 CAD range.

Unfortunately, I watched the IGN review that gave Hogwarts a 9/10. Despite the score, what I was shown was a game that looked terrible (for me). Which is great all in all, because then I don't have to consider giving Rowling any money.

Watched the Nintendo Direct this morning.

Two cool surprises.

Game Boy and Gameboy Advance are available now on Switch Online. There's a ton of games I wanted to play when I was younger but couldn't afford, or weren't available in Denmark. Definitely gonna play all the Mario's, Zelda's and Kirbys.

Metroid Prime Trilogy is also available from today. If the reviews are solid I'll be playing that over the weekend.
