It was a joke only Waluigi could appreciate.
I believe the expo is open from Monday to Wednesday but the first conference starts tomorrow evening. Around 20.00 South African time I believe. You guys are usually in the same time zone as Denmark.

Nintendo's conference is on Tue, and it's the last one, as usual.
EA kicks things off tomorrow.
Incidentally, with all the delays announced in the past few weeks, Q1 2019 is getting packed with release dates.

Eurogamer saw a behind closed doors demo of Beyond Good and Evil 2. @ E3. Their impressions.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this game; mainly because prior to this coming out (a beta is supposed to available "end of 2019") we'll have had not only NMS, but also Sea of Thieves and Skull and Bones both trying the "open-world pirate simulator" thing, so ubi'll have loads of feedback on what doesn't work in such games. So given all that, this could still turn out to be good. Maybe.

Anyone here played Prey? I saw it's £9.99 in the Steam sale, wondering if it's worth it.

My enjoyment of the game was strangely muted, despite feeling just as good as other games within it's field, like Dishonored and Deus Ex.
I think the game is good. It'd very well designed, with a ton of exploration and choices. I think the game might have just been a bit too long (those "guts of the spaceship" segments were tedious) and because I figured out the games plot early on when I tried a quick "End the game" choice, it sort of made the whole game feel a bit pointless.

Okay, thanks. I'll probably hold fire on it and wait for another sale.

Prey was along with Horizon zero dawn for me two of the best games. Of 2017. It's well worth it. It's fantastic. I can't sing it's praises enough.

Okay, maybe I will get it. See how confused I am?
I'll watch some gameplay vids over the weekend.

I loved Prey. Loved it! Don't watch gameplay videos. Go into the game blind!

Thanks both - your comments ACG's review have pretty much sold me on it.

I have been playing Red Alert (1995!) during the last weeks, almost finished both campaigns now. For a 23 year old game, it has aged quite well. So now I've bought command & conquer ultimate edition with 17 games for about 5 euro's. :-)

Has anyone here tried one of those Steam Link gizmos? Just wondering, as they're flogging them for £2 in the Summer sale, if the cheapness is a sign that it's a bit crap.

I believe the rumour is that they're preparing something new as a replacement and they had too much stock.
From what I've heard it's good and it's a steal at the current price.
