Try one where you have to move your character? I'm only really familar with Guild Wars 2 and its combat is pretty good but I've heard there are others with better combat systems out there (god help you with the rest of the game though)
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Let me know what you think of it.

I got my version via Humble Bundle and wasn't really in the mood for the game at the time, but it seemed sort of promising if you wanted to play a Warhammer game in a battlefield or Planetside like setting.

If you have a PlayStation Plus subscription, Until Dawn is free during July. Grab it, it's excellent.

I'm boycotting any more Shadow of War footage, since I feel like they've already shown a ton of content.

I do wonder about where the series is going. Will we fight Shelob in this game? Will we kill her/it? We also know from older trailers that at least one Balrog appears. It feels like the game is going down a path that might see the series completely severing it's connection to the books/films continuity and just creating a 100% alternate reality.

Incidentally the same day as the Launch of the X-box Scorpio.

Speaking of Shadow of War, Warner Brothers sure fucked up it's PR with all that micro transaction bullshit. I personally am ambivalent but you'd think they'd eventually learn some restraint in regards to wringing out every drop of money they can from the players.

Anyone played Warframe? I heard bad things about the game when it was new but it has gotten a lot of patches since launch. It's f2p on PS4. Any good?

Played it. It's decent. Especially for F2P it's pretty generous on the experience to cost ratio. Pretty sure you can earn most things that cost real money through in-game currency too, it just takes a lot longer. Getting/recently got a larger, open-world type map space, which should be good.
The third person camera makes the movement seem a bit...clunky? Compared to something like Destiny or Titanfall, but it's not terrible by any means.

Definitely recommend checking it out - just be prepared to have quite a lot of areas look the same (most maps are procedurally generated from a bunch of room segments, so you don't really know what the map layout will be when you start, but you'll see a lot of familiar rooms as you go through the map).

Hmmm. Warframe told me it's 4.19GB yet it's really 20 now that I'm loading it. Wtf

Hah, trolled. A lot of games are doing that these days - the "base game" size is advertised and then you download the patches...years and years of patches. XD

This is starting to look more like the game I thought I was getting in the first place.

Time for another look?
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

So, The Last of Us is pretty awesome.

Forgot it came free on my PS4 and I needed a new game, thought I'd give it a shot.

A selection from my recent gaming is as follows...

Bloodborne: Distilled nightmares, distilled Dark Souls, distilled farming, distilled gameplay. I've actually stopped playing it because I'm three quarters of the way through the game and the DLC, and I don't want to see the end. Easily one of the best games I've ever played.
Deus Ex Mankind Divided: Jeez. It's a fun game, but there's a bug where upgrades just... no longer work. With no fix. I now see why I paid like $15 for it.
Fallout 4: SUCK IT GIANT LIZARD I'M LITERALLY IN A MECH SHOOTING LAZERS AT YOU WHILE YOU APPROACH MY HEAVILY FORTIFIED HAND-BUILT CITY JESUS CHRIST THIS IS AWESOME (except for the fact it's atompunk Skyrim with all of the problems of any Bethesda game).
Persona 5: One of the most interesting games I've played in a long time. It's absurdly hard at the start, in my opinion, like a lot of Atlas games, and I find it actually quite emotionally draining. It's also the only game I've paid more than $40 for in a long time, and given I put in about 50 hours before I had to take a proper break, and I'm maybe half the way through, it's entirely been worth it.

Yes. Utterly beautiful, heartbreaking, terrifying and just breath taking. Can't wait for the second one.

I honestly feel a lot of trepidation about the second one. I thought the story was pretty concluded at the end of the first.

Oh shit, hi Lisheo! :p

P5 is definitely a game I am willing to pay full price for, but for some reason I have not yet bought. Need to get onto that ASAP.

Flipping yes. Picked up the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane trilogy remaster. Looking forward to a huge blast of nostalgia and silliness!
