If anyone wants to give me a gift for my birthday in 3 weeks, I'd like Spec Ops: The Line and XCOM, tyvm :twoguns:

Whelp, the Autumn sale went live and I just broke my own promise to myself and bought the Walking Dead Season 1 for 12,50 euro. And Intrusion 2 for 2,50 which is just ridiculously cheap. And they weren't even on my wishlist! Oh, this is going to be a bad week.

Holy gloom cookie! I just finished the final episode (Episode 5: No Time Left) of the The Walking Dead video game. What an emotional roller coaster! I need to decompress after that! #TryingToRecover

And the song played during the credits was totes awesome-sauce!

Every single copy of Assassin's Creed III on PC bound for Holland & Belgium has been stolen.

I'm genuinely curious what people's gripe is with AC3, I've yet to have time to play mine but I have seen a lot more people saying it's bad than good without actually providing a reason why.

My gripe is that every time a new AC is released, I always hope that this time they got it right.. only to find its just more of the same. Don't get me wrong, I think these are some of the most beautiful games out there.. I just think those landscapes and cities are wasted with poor predictable gameplay, and the animus concept which totally ruins any immersion in the world.

I'm tempted, again, by the new one, but I'm hoping I've learned my lesson by now.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I got WD as well, I've been waiting for it to appear in a Steam Sale.


Finished episode 2 last night. It's certainly a game to fuck with your emotions... excellent though.

Yeah, for the same reason I waited with buying it until the last episode was ready so I wouldn't have to wait a month on a cliffhanger or something like that.

Bought Max Payne 3 and To the Moon today.

I am curious if Skyrim will go below 50% during this sale.

Got back into Skyrim after purchasing Dawnguard for $10 during the Steam sale. Started up a new character since jumping into one I hadn't played for several months felt too weird. Going with a more stealthy assassination Argonian character this time, really enjoying it. Level 17 and I have yet to even head over to the Dawnguard place, I keep getting preoccupied with other quests. What'll be nice is that in a month or so Dragonborn should be out on PC, so I'll be able to start that right up.

I'm not sure how I feel about "Destiny." I'll have to wait until we get more information on it. "Aggressive alien species has pushed humanity to the brink of extinction" is something that we already played with Halo, after all.

Dark Souls 2 is on the way! Extremely excited for this as the other games have been phenomenal. I do hope that we get to explore an entirely different region of the world since this looks like it'll be a genuine sequel. As awesome as many of the areas in Dark Souls were, I want something new. Although I'm sure we'll get Valley of Defilement/Blighttown 3.0.

Dark Souls 2 should be good. And released on pc! I hope it turns out better than the dark souls port. Then again, that port was playable with the resolution mod and a controller. In any case I'll play it, though it would be nice not having to work around crap controls.

Interesting. Seems like they're just using the name for the recognition it gets if so. Easier to make money when people can instantly associate it with your previous games. Final Fantasy does things the same way.
