I've finished catching up here and am with people in the fact that we need to move this game along and lynch somebody.

Unfortunately, it's still feels like a day 1 semi-random vote. I was deciding between Korv and Meanas as the two most useless members of our little society when everyone started piling on Korv. I'm cool with that if you need my vote after we hit 1000. Either one really, or someone with a, you know, case against them, of course. I'll check in periodically throughout the day.

Unless people are going to go out on a limb and indentify players in scenes that they are suspicious of i think we are going to be hard pressed making a case. The fact is in a game were the overall post count is important a vast amount of posts are going to look like spam but could hide any manner of signal.

The problem with signal/code is it could be fake and/or the person who figures it out might not be on thier team

Short answer? He's useless.

Long answer? It's better to lynch than to not lynch, and since we can glean information from people's willingness to vote him and there is jack all chance of racking up a 12 vote case worth the name in 5 hours, he's (in our opinion of course) the best candidate to test the waters and get the game moving a bit more, as it's kind of stagnant at the moment. It's a step in the right direction, in any case.

So what you are telling me is that since the spys don't know their teams (at least I don't know mine), there should be 22 people willing to lynch me, right?

What a witch hunt.

Just that I don't have enough time to wade through all this spam and continually post like JA. That is it in its entirety. Which is awesome, by the way.

Yes, but in your 3 posts you only added spam. Hey, heres a thought maybe if you started picking it up, you might (maybe) get the train to shift to Meanas.

Just that I don't have enough time to wade through all this spam and continually post like JA bother to contribute meaningfully to the game, while making derisive comments about lack of content. That is it in its ironic entirety. Which is awesome, by the way.

It's pretty much what I was trying to do with meanas so I guess I'll vote him.

KAschan,

What would you like me to add?

The fact that anytime I get on, there is nothing going on except random spam?

I figured my lack of voting for the bullshit cases put forward so far was quite eloquent.

@ Sheltatha - apparently you don't know what irony is. Go ahead and lynch me for not putting up 100 posts per day, if that is the mark that must be met.

You won't have hit any of the 'evils', so good luck.

Let me clarify - I read them, but I dont pay any attention to them. Tapper said he had tweaked it so there wouldnt be soft finds. I suck at analyzing them and so I read them, enjoy them, but I take more from your words than I do of the scenes. Probably stupid to admit it, but I think its better to play the person.

Well you are missing out on valuable info and as i dont know who is in my team i will give everyone the same advice. You should read the scenes carefully. I have counted at least seventeen different characters in the scenes. From that I can guess the early abilities of around six of those players and then almost the same amount of characters have divulged their nationality in the scenes or with some deduction. The most important thing we need to gain from the scenes though is which characters are members of the syndicate. At present i have only two guesses toward characters who could be syndicate. The unassuming woman working with the criminal element and the man discussing chess. We also know that two Europeans made lover connections last night from the scenes and the people they made the connections with know that those players are definitely spies or their action would not have increased the points gained by the european team.

Your quick defense and ability to post now does make it look like you were lurking Korv.

I dont think that's true. Yes, not oodles of info, but not entirely spam either. There are plenty of ways to contribute to this game, and lack of contribution speaks of an attempt to hide.

"Have fun lynching me?" If you care so little about the game, then I have no qualms about voting for you.

The problem i have with that is that people will continue to spam until someone says something game related. If you had some input you wished to make you should have made it and people would have responed.

That's quite the pile up on Korvalain but it seems perfectly justified to me. Face it Korv, saying that there was only spam going on when you were on just isn't a good excuse. Spam gains us levels and everyone wants their delicious upper-level abilities so at the very least you could have added to the spam, if not turned the thread to meaningful conversation. But instead you sat and lurked and accumulated only your three little posts.

Vote Korvalain

Better luck next time.

Edit: crosspost with the above two saying the same thing.

Actually i think he said that he tweaked them so the clues wouldnt be quite as obvious as they were in the first game because it played a bigger part than he intended. There's still going to be clues in them. For instance the scene with the bouncer and the girl look suspiciously like two of the russian characters from the first game, and from that we have some idea of possible abilities for them.

On the Korv thing, im not too sold on it right now, though we probably should lynch today so if nothing else presents itself il probably add my vote later but i want to see if anyone makes any slips before hand as weve still got a bit of time left, so we might as well use it.
