@Liosan, a lot of people were making the "D'riss is suspicious" comments... I think Kaschan may even have been one of them. Your claims would be logical if Kaschan did want to deflect away from D'riss before he ended up getting votes (because when everyone says so-and-so is suspicious, it's only a matter of time before they all drop a vote).

Still, I don't know if I buy it. Would be a pretty dangerous maneuver by Kaschan to risk outing two of his team like that.

But thats just it. You would be assuming that I know Driss is on my team. Yet I cant assume that Sil and Eloth know Galain? I guess I am so frustrated because I made an argument and eventually voted based on that argument. And more people are focusing on me based on that, than those looking at the points I made. It doesnt make sense. If you disagree, then dont vote the same way and tell me Im an idiot. But to defend Galain and discedit me because I presented an argument is only going to convince me how right I am.

Well I'm pretty sure I already stated how I could understand why you'd have made the argument. If I didn't, consider it stated now.

I don't agree with your reason, but I also don't immediately think you're an idiot. Maybe later :).

I just don't think we have the ability to make a good lynch today. Even more so since the closest person (Galain) is at L-9 with 45 minutes to go. I think we all remember how bad a Day 1 speed lynch was last time :).

Did Kaschan expand with his mockra vote, if so i didn't see it or did he just switch to Galain. If so i would still like to hear the reasonings behind the first vote.

I think he voted me because he thought when Ruse voted me earlier in a semi-joking fashion, that it looked like a signal vote.

He left it there quite happily for most of the day and then got onto Galain when Silanah and Eloth started to defend Galain.

The Mockra vote was a joke vote - I said I was happy with it as I placed it on Mockra as a third vote to "speed lynch" him. The other 2 removed their votes and left me on him. So thats the explanation of that one.

I also am assuming that Olar Ethil is of the Chinese faction - his vote on me yesterday was obviously a joke vote and he left it on. They are the only ones that would benefit from this.

You could say that of just about any of the errant votes scattered about... and really, it could also be a vote to counteract the Chinese... really hard to actually determine if a player is Chinese simply for voting, as I stated earlier.

This.

The only "serious" votes are against Galain, I think. Whether or not a joke vote is better than a bad case vote at this point for the Chinese is wifom, so I won't go there.

I can assume what I want to. Thanks for the input though.

That sounded sarcastic - it wasnt meant to be.

Note that I am also assuming the other errent votes are as well - part of the equation, I was just personally linked to the Olar Ethil vote.

What's this about a frozen clock?

due to the extension I gave to compensate for the forum down time, I had to freeze the clock in the mafia manager. When i reopened it, it jumped to 1 minute of time left, so I have to keep it frozen to add votes.

The beautiful black haired lady folded the silky paper several times, her hands turning a simple square into a miniature tower. Her Louboutins tapped the mahogany floor with sharp, precise clicks as she walked to the map table.

When she bent over the map table to place the little origami masterpiece square in the centre of Tokyo, Otto knew for certain that if he were standing opposite her, he would glimpse just enough of her cream coloured décolleté to make any man stare, with her maintaining class and style. She was like that. Luckily, he wasn’t standing opposite her. On the other hand, that meant that he now had the perfect opportunity to examine her fabulous behind as it stretched the fabric of her skirt, and how her legs went on for miles… He swallowed. Loudly. She turned, raising an eyebrow and maintained that look for slightly longer than was comfortable. Damn.

“How is the international response to our little plan with the Orpheus project, Otto?”
“Exactly as you had planned, Madame. All the members of the Security Council are sending in what experts they have at hand. None of them believe their regular teams can pull this off, and they all expect mayhem, so they send in people with survival skills and killing instincts. I think Japan will be shocked by the steep incline in dead foreigners, Madame.”
“And our people?”
“With the amount of infiltrators we have in the various intelligence agencies, it was not too difficult to make sure several of our agents are amongst the strike teams, Madame. However, due to the haphazard international response, not all of them have established contact with us or with one another yet.”
“I think a little diversion is in order, then, to buy us time. Instruct a local team to install a bomb in Tokyo Tower, and to blow it up by night fall. Use the internet to contact all newspapers and foreign intelligence services to warn of this disaster a few hours before sun down. I want those strike teams diverted. Make it so, will you, Otto?”

“Yes Madame.”

“Also, I expect my subordinates to be professionals. Next time I catch your eyes wandering, let alone see a thread of drool emerging in the corner of your mouth, I’ll take an eye. Understood?”

He nodded and turned, knees wobbly. What a woman.

@Kaschan, lol glad you clarified, cuz I was gonna say, "Nice sarcasm."

@Ruse, Tapper 'froze' the clock to extend it 9 hours due to the forum downtime. The day ends in ~27 minutes.

I am rather perplexed that people think i was going after galain. I was responding to eloths confusion not the case. If i thought galain deserved a vote i would have placed one down. Likewise, just because i felt the case wasnt very good didnt mean that it was unworthy of attention. It was me that galain was talking to during the supposed slip and i never paid it any heed. When emurlahn made his case he then disappeared leaving me with eloth asking questions which i answered as i had time. Galain had used bwgan as an example so it seemed logical to provide her ability and cf from the previous game. I dont think we are going to get a lynch today, but given the winning conditions everyone should vote even if it is not going to go anywhere. There is no way we can make everyone remove therefore to counter the vc of the chinese we must all vote.

vote ruse

No real reason, though i do think that someone who mentions a faction a lot tends to be in it and you have given me the impression of mentioning the chinese faction more than anyone else. Though to be fair that stems from one post in particular that stuck out in my mind on my initial read through.
