Oh, hey, the forum is back! And there is some slightly serious talk to go along with it.

In reference to Galain's comments, the case seemed very much steeped in the setup of this game, not the last. The facts are that there is an extra alt that more people agree than not has a good chance of being a tool of the syndicate. One of the scenarios for the extra alt is that multiple people - perhaps an entire team - are controlling it, such that when Galain made a statement that seemed to forget facts that he talked about just a little bit earlier, it sent up some red flags. The only way that last game plays into it is the set of facts that actually got confused.

All that said, there are a crap-ton of logical leaps to make to go from Galain failing to communicate a few inconsequential facts properly to him being scum. These might be leaps I am willing to make when it comes down to the wire, but for now I just hope that cleared up the discussion for some of the confused people.

I suppose you could consider this 'coming to his aid', but I think you're pushing quite hard for this lynch (despite no vote) and it's just not gelling with me. Besides, it's a ridiculous case, even for Day 1. You're conflating two things.

Your line of thinking is flawed since there is no way of knowing for sure your version of what galain was trying to say is the real version.
So its what you think galain was saying vs what galain says he was trying to say.

Nope, it's why people have been bandying the idea about of Galain as a dummy alt. That is, members of a team (or lovers, or it could be the giving of an ability mentioned in the Chinese VC, like an Imposter ability or something) are able to post in another alt for whatever purpose. That is all speculation, of course, but it seems the most likely scenario.

I can see how people would think that (even if it is a bit of a leap in my mind), but I don't think it's an area we should be focusing on. Kaschan has been rather vehement about this whole thing, and it's confusing the fuck out of a lot of people, you and Fener included. If his purpose was to distract from scum-hunting (assuming the dummy alt is a scum ability) or just to distract in general and get a lynch from it, then he's done a marvelous job.

Fuck you - Im not confusing anyone. Im playing the fucking game. There is a massive OVER FUCKING REACTION to the vote and pressure that was put on Galain. Thats the fucking case. You trying to constantly discredit my arguments by saying they make no sense is really starting to get under my skin. You dont like it, make something better happen. But stop pretending that I started the fucking topic, or that I am single handedly driving home the argument. I have read through all that has been added. That sucked having the thread go down during my posting time.

I'm more concerned with all the people jumping at the Galain/Emurlahan case, than with the case it self. I don't see us getting any where close to a lynch today and I think the people who are all jumpy right now are the one who will gain team points from a lynch. I am at work right now and don't have the time to go through and make cases, but I will tonight.
