Yet another reason CGI can fuck itself. Never looks half as cool as the real things


Topic Ho!: are they really predicting that flights are going to be grounded til may though? Or is that just clearing the backlog?

The two best CGI movies are still Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. Any cries of 'but they had tonnes of animatronics in them!' will be met with the word 'EXACTLY!'.

Well the news is at it again. The Cloud has passed and the planes will fly again. That was immediately followed by another reported saying that there will be a second "Cloud" and this one will be worse. At this rate I'm expecting them to say Godzilla is coming.

Bad example in this case though. I doubt Peter Jackson could have told the studios that RotK would only be released when there was a convenient volcano eruption. Oh, and shooting it would have been fun, "Right, Sean and Elijah, if you'll just clamber up between those two lethal rivers of magma, and look all depressed and longing for the shire and shit, and we'll keep shooting until the lava cuts off your escape route..."
