Sweet Jesus man you don't get a room from them directly... Go to Hotwire and then let me know which one you are thinking of. I know the hotels down town well enough to be able to give you a good idea of what hotel is what.

I just looked on Hotwire and the best it showed was 89 a night for the Palmer house (May 15th-16th) the price was from Hotels.com. The nice thing about hotwire is that now they show their competitors rates so that you can find the best one.

That date was just a random date that I picked. The only weekend that I know of in may that I can't host is the last weekend in May. Our 5yr anniversary weekend...

I'm looking through Hotwire, Hotels.com, Priceline, and other assorted places Vengy. From what I can tell, it all depends upon the date, as of right now. Some weekends are $119 per night and a week later are upwards of $250.00+ in may. As for October, well it's completely all over the place. It's ridiculously expensive as of now, but that's not all that surprising considering that it's a hell of a lot cheaper to nail the room at the last second. The $400 number was through Priceline in October, btw.

It's all preliminary at this point, of course. But, I would love to hang out with y'all again for a weekend, especially if we could get some newcomers.

Well, that's what I was saying all along. My plans are pretty set, September is the only time I can travel. So if Vengeance sees fit to plan a gathering then, I'd be able to attend. Not much flexibility for me unfortunately.

Well the Malazan Meet up has forced me to find and revive this thread.

From the looks of things we are looking at a meet up in September. I assume that we are looking at a weekend. So possible dates are

4/5, 18/19th, 25/26th...

I left the 2nd weekend off as a meet up with out Bent would be a sad sad a fare. Till we all got drunk of course.

And Venge, yeah, I see what you mean, but at least it's a professional football game. It still surprises me that a big city like Chicago only has amateur teams.
