Tapper, considering the distances involved for a lot of the Americans (like Obdi going from Minneapolis to Chicago) that isn't that different than you traveling to the UK.

As a benchmark, Berlin to London is 931 kilometers. Minneapolis to Chicago 665. Are you saying that seeing Mezla sick on a dog isn't worth the extra 100 kilometers or so? :p

Definately, but that is not what I meant :D I meant to say that if you guys followed up on her suggestion to run the Malaz BBQs at the same date, you, Morgy and I will not be able to present ourselves on the US one, seeing how it is outside of our (planned) US visiting times :)

For me, the old world includes Britain... as much as they hate being associated with anything continental.

I hate how you guyys started doing these after I moved from Ohio. THere was a time when I would have been able to swing down and pick up HD in Indianapolis and tear off to Chicago at the drop of a hat. Now, not so much.

I think the board as a whole this time round wants to see more drinking, debauchery and defiling of dogs, and less museums and mafia. Just so you know!

So what you are saying is that the US meet up is a much classier and respectful event than the Eurotrip you guys have over there?

It just seems so odd to hear you say that brood.

I can't do it in May, my weekends get screwy because I work Friday nights.

That's the way the schedule looks as of right now. Who knows, it could always change. Maybe I could take a Friday off, but that depends on whether I'll be bossing people around or being bossed around.

IF one of the software companies we've taken on a huge contract with has a user conference this year and IF the slightly absent-minded project leader remembers he said he wanted me to go it and IF there's money available I MIGHT be in Chigaco SOMETIME later this year. Can I be on the invite list

I might try to come, if I can get my car fixed before then. I have a friend that lives about an hour out of Chicago, so I'd have a place to stay. It's just getting up there. Fall is difficult, with school, but not necessarily impossible.

I'm researching. Just as an in case sort of thing for May.

Edit: See Mike run. See Brian forget. See knowledge of non-hotel stay. See me amazed.

I'm still looking though, jic.

Edit: Good lord boys! The Palmer House is costing around $400 per night when I check it out for May and October right now!

Really? I got an offer for 309 a night for a kingsize bed on the Executive Floor. Deal of the century.*

* For one night only.**

**I guess I better bring my own cardboard box to sleep in for the remainder of the trip. That, or I'll have to put up the 'stylish European toy boy, hardly used, seeks rich lady (22-45 y.o.) for pleasures uncountable. Modest fee charged.' advert again.

< paid 250 bucks for 2 nights at the palmer - split the cost with Bubba (Venge recommended a website, but its a gamble on where you stay, you just pick a price and go with it.)

I may be able to do August (but I would need to know in the next month or so)But the wife said she would come, as long as we stayed in a hotel, lol.
THIS IS HOW I ROLL BITCHES!!!
