I live in Belgium by the way, so perhaps the location you live makes sure you have such a huge interval of time.
Also, am I supposed to do something about my pre-order now? I checked on amazon and it seems the book is still ordered, but if so, I don't get why they sent me this mail at all :s

I don't know whether to be happy or sad about this.
On one hand, I'm now 100% positive I'll complete my reread on time. I'll even be able to read Stonewielder before DoD so I can move in from DoD to TCG with only a few days break inbetween.
On the other hand, even if it was coming out next month I'd find a way to get my reread done in time.
I do wonder when the exact release date is. From Amazon, it looks like February 15th for both the UK and the US is a possibility. I do hope this is the case.

Im from Czech republic and this looks ridiculous to me. When friend sends me package from London, it takes 3-5 days to deliver...
But so far, I have solid experience with Amazon.co.uk so...

Looks like it has dropped back another week again - "Estimated arrival date: February 25 2011 - February 28 2011"
(Yes, I go for free delivery - waited many years for the series to get here, a few more days wont hurt)

I've just had an email from Amazon saying my delivery date has moved from Feb 21st to the 23rd. That actually works out better for me. I have the week including March 1st booked off already, so I know what I'll be doing all week.

Ugh. This better be the final delay, I'm not sure how much longer I can wait.

If it's late February could very well be out as a birthday present for me. Though I still need to read DoD which I got as a Christmas present. Too much uni work or at least that's my excuse. Though I gather it'll be good to read tCG not long after DoD, them being part 1 & 2 of the mega epic finale.

Are you kidding me???
Does anyone then perhaps have any idea why, for like the past two months, i've been living under the impression that the release date was the 25th of this month? has the release date been changed or was this just some kind of deluded dream on my part? I think I may actually cry, since this month started i've been planning my CG reading times ahead of schedule, squirreling away supplies for the days when i'm not at work and can sit in my house with my door locked and dire warnings to my mates to leave me the hell alone under pain of unspeakable tortures. All for nothing.......

You're not deluded, just confused. Stonewielder is released on the 25th of November.

Ahh, well it wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last. At least I have something to look forward too before the years out. Thanks for setting me straight, I can climb down from the window ledge now

I want to read it asap, like everyone here - but I want to buy a version that matches my current collection (books 1-5, small soft cover; books 6-9 (10?) large soft cover).
Will CG only be available in hardcover to start? How long would I theoretically have to wait to receive or find a copy of a large softcover of this book? I'd rather not buy two, I'm po'.
Also: this is all the Bantam ones and I live in Canada. Merci!

heard from SE's publicist today - they are expecting finished copies to arrive around the 3rd week of January. She indicated that it's another beast of a novel (size-wise).

Can someone PLEASE knock me out and assume responsibility for feeding tubes, bedpan changes, etc, then just wake me up the day this arrives at my doorstep? It's seriously getting that bad.

Haven't been in here in awhile. Glad to hear the release date is getting close.
I'm guessing that's a UK-only release with USA (and by extension Canada) release about a year afterward?
So I should probably order via the amazon links on Malaz main site right?
