Help
Hi everyone,
I have been reading for a while and am currently in the middle of Reaper's Gale. I really loved The Bonehunters and the whole story arc regarding the 14th army is my favorite part so far.
I like other fantasy literature as well, particularly the works of Brandon Sanderson. I'm looking forward to joining in the discussions soon! Reading in-depth discussions of specific aspects of the books is what got me interested in the site.

Hi all,
I embarked on the Malazan world bookathon in the summer of 2013. I only get time to read on weekends and have just finished reading half of house of chains. I plan to finish the 10 core books, then the Bauchelain and Korbal Broach novellas and finally the books by Ian Esselmont. Any advice for this newbie?
When I am not nerding out to fantasy fiction novels and pop science, I usually am in my lab doing research on infectious diseases.

I am feeling that. I started reading back in June/July, and currently I am only on the beginning of the 3rd book. I only get to read it about 1 hr 30 mins a day, so at this rate I will be reading for over a year to finish the series

Hi everyone. I just finished The Crippled God,.......... and I am kinda lost and wanting more. I enjoyed the 10 books. Sometimes the pace slowed, other times to fast but always , always enjoyable.
So now I imagine I will haunt this site to get my fix.

Hey everyone! I've been reading Malzan for about a year now, and I'm almost halfway through ICE atm, been loving it so far.
I've just finished The First Collected Tales of Bauchelain and Korbal Broach, and I have to wonder why they aren't getting more attention! Really enjoyed them, especially the political/satirical aspects of The Healthy Dead.
I've read a fair bit from different series before (All of Eddings, Jordan, Pratchett, for example) and Malazan is definitely my favourite so far!

im about to finish the first book on the series. it has been dificult to understand but is worth the effort. this is the greatest novel in scope for me since Tolkien.

Hello all… yet another lurker who's decided to join the forum here. Currently on MOI and,as you may have guessed, loving it. So, here I find myself, among avid fans of a series that has affected me in ways other books haven't come close to. I write from my dinky office, where reading a book at one's desk is punishable by a hard smack to the back of one's head. Thus, frankness is vital: Thanks SE and the many fans who have posted about his work online- had it not been for you fans, I'd have never discovered SE in the first place (and what a nightmare that'd be).
