Yeah, I'm pretty swamped at work. I want to look into your Sukul case when I get back, as well as my own theories.

I'll do a few rereads later, but after a brief read through the last day I am not sure I buy that Korbas is Liosan's leader. His posts are more defensive of Liosan than I would expect a leader to be. Unfortunately Liosan has few posts to go off of, so picking out things based on his posts will be tough.
I pretty much agree with Ruse's run down of who is not Yaun Shu, though him clearing himself should be taken with a grain of salt of course.
That makes the suspect list: Tulas Shorn, Telas, Ruse, Korbas and Gay Lord

i'm back
we killed Cao Cao, wow. it would appear the kingdom of Shu is doing well
(and, believe it or not, it is completely unrelated to Yuan Shu, lol)
I'll look into the current lynching situation after supper.

I'm here for a sec, got a moment in between work and play. I can see why ppl wouldn't agree that Korbas = Liosan's leader. Basically for the same reasons that I cleared myself. but Korbas, you aren't gonna convince me that Sukul is Liosans leader... no way. I have him and Meanas as not being even possible. I would definately vote Telas as his leader as I said in my post, he doesn't have a lot to go on. Tulasor Gay lord.. sure but not sure how we could logically come to their conclusion, but thats what you get from low posters.
PS did confirm that there is no information in the lynch scene, so it's possible that Yuan didn't get a recruit last night. So maybe not as Pressing as I first thought. I went over the Mid day scene from yesterday and couldn't make heads or tails of it.
I will
remove vote
for now, as I don't think I am going to check the thread for at least 24-36 hours. I should be back sunday.

Ruse, you seem to be growing more and more smug. The mantle of "voice to be trusted and believed" has been taken up by you apparently. It feels like an attempt to take the leader of the game role, which is actually smart because the game flow has given you more credibility than Meanas. You'll have to excuse me if I find this to be a danger.
Korbas/Telas/Me/Gaylord as possible leaders by your logic. Believe it or not, Gaylord might be the best place to look. No pressure given, and he would be prime candidate for a lurking leader in this game.
Vote Galayn Lord
To get some participation.
What about Korv, Omtose, Spite, the ones you didn't mention? Where do you put them, o' great guru?

I believe that he says I started the train on Liosan, so I can't be his leader, lol.
personally, i'm still intrigued by Telas. his connection to Tennes is unmistakable--both were very lurker-ish and on all 3 trains they voted nearly simultaneously.

Hey here I am. It worked.
I would OMGUS you but PS would just ignore it....

I don't think anyone else has failed this game worse than me. For that I am sorry.
I have yet to have a successful night action. I have come to understand it has more to do with not being there at lynch times to get an action in early.
So a lynch would be a mercy killing at this point.

This connection, while intriguing, is probably not the best thread to follow at the moment IMO. As Tennes was the warlord we are back in a situation where pursuing the obvious link will likely lead to a sub. From the number of warlords dead already seems there are a large number of them. Pursuing the trail to find Liosan's master or looking to see if anyone signals a desired kill of Tennes would be more beneficial IMO.

right, except I can't shake off the crazy idea that Telas was teh dominant figure in that duo. IF for some reason I am correct, that would make him no more no less than the young emperor Xian himself. I realize this is crazy, but I can't help but think that.

Rereading the lynch train it was the Tennes vote that swung the momentum onto Liosan and away from Telas (whom Meanas was aiming at fairly strongly). But as he is a confirmed leader and dead, there isn't much to make out of that other than one of those who followed may now be leaderless. I suppose you could make the argument that Telas, as the next voter, was the one who brought Korbas and Sukul along for the ride, but that is pretty slim. The whole thing looks more like opportunism by people who knew Liosan was not on their team/not their leader. That last part isn't even true of Korbas or Sukul, as the lynch looked like a done deal by the time they voted. Either could be his leader, just based on voting alone, though both of them have earlier posts that would contradict that.
On an unrelated note, this post by Ruse strikes me as someone being deliberately obtuse:
The bold is mine. From someone who has been presenting fairly detailed analysis of the game I do find that a highly questionable comment.

yes, that is true, Spite--but if you look at the Day 1 and 2 trains, it was both times Telas followed by a Tennes vote.

True, and the tennes vote swinging the train is something a follower would try to do to protect his leader, but in light of Tennes being the warlord it just doesn't make sense. That does not mean that Telas is not a leader, I had him linked to Ruse earlier, but he cannot have been Tennes's leader.
I had a list or two of potential leaders, based on the last day, but unfortunately there are no intersections I see. I'll try digging back another day to see if anything else gives a similar list and whether there are corresponding names on that list and either of the two I have now.
Edit: added "based on the last day"

Well, combining a few points of view then:
Ruse may have been correct in his assertion that there was a leader amongst the early voters on the Okaros train. Those three were Meanas, Tulas Shorn and Telas
I still believe one of those trying to start a train on me yesterday was a leader. Those were: Liosan, Meanas, Sukul Ankhadu and Ruse
The likely list of suspects for Liosan's Leader are: Tulas Shorn, Telas, and Galayn Lord, with Ruse and Korbas being somewhat less likely but still possible
So from those three we have Telas, Meanas, and Tulas Shorn appearing twice, along with Ruse as a somewhat less likely candidate.
Edit: added Meanas in the last line
