I, personally, am still of the opinion that Meanas is Lu Bu.

Omtose, I'm actually thinking the same thing. I just did a re-read of him, which took a while since he's got so many posts.

His posting style completely changed from day 1 to day 2. I think he found himself recruited and started throwing more suspicion around.

His only pressure on day 1 was on someone he thought was a lone wolf (ano).

According to Wikipedia, okaros, whilst being a Warlord, was a very small fry.


the big people i'd expect to still be around as important leaders are

Lu Bu

Liu Bei (and Liu Biao, the eventual founder of Shu)
Yuan Shao, who was reputedly the single strongest warlord at the time
his relative Yuan Shu.

and, ofc, Cao Cao, the one who ended up almost re-uniting the realm.

i'd probably also put Gongsun Zan on that list, since he was a major fighter in the north for a while.

that being said, not really sure where to look for such leaders.

Yay another leader down, yawn at the random accusations.

The idea that I am Lu Bu is ridiculous. OBVIOUSLY in Malazan Mafia we lynch players who "talk about a role" but can you tell me the last time that actually panned out? I can easily compile a list of games in which it hasn't.

The mere fact that I KNOW that information should be enough to discredit the idea. And if it were, of all things, true, how on earth has nobody managed to die yet?

and I can list you the games where we DIDN'T lynch people who did... and kicked ourselves afterwards.

in any case, i'm now of the opinion that there were a LOT of minor warlords to start with, but those minor ones were just as recruitable as regular officers. the big fish that i've listed in the post above--those are the guys with the "power level" to pull off early recruits.

as for why we've had no deaths yet--i'd wager most of the actions being submitted have to do with recruiting.

also, in this era Lu Bu is becomeing a warlord in his own right, with territory and everything. he just has a checkered reputation.

*sigh* I have to stop drinking. These days people seem to automatically accuse me of faking it. I'm not liking Meanas' choice of words though. Ridiculously faked and all seem clear attempts at saying something enough and with enough force to make it true. Still, that's hardly unexpected in a merc game, but it's still fairly transparent.

I'm eager to be explained the purpose of my fake drunk posting too.

Two warlords in two days seems strange. I would guess that there are far more warlords compared to factions than we, or at least I, originally thought.

As for votes, for now I feel we need to make people talk more, especially adding content - pot, kettle, yes yes.. - which leads to me voting

Hey, I call it like I see it. Just because someone accuses you of something and they are wrong, doesn't mean that their case isn't good. I compliment people for good play all the time, even in cases where it doesn't directly benefit me. I find it a refreshing breath of fresh air from the usual ad hominem attacks and diatribe that gets spouted here from angry people.

No, I did not recruit Telas, because I can't recruit. I doubt anyone other than leaders can recruit. If I could do hat, I would have done it a while ago. Telas is exactly the type of player that should be recruited--invisible.

You should probably go back to Day 1 and check up what I said about Ano, Tulas. I was pretty complimentary of several of his points and even said I like the guy, but ultimately, I play for my leader to win.
