Going to have to agree with Meanas on that one. I also like to respond to acusations immediately. Less room for Strawmanning later in the game. If you let things fester they grow too big.

At this point, I feel like we are spinning our wheels. It seems like we are getting little to no help from people other than Meanas, Okaros, Spite and to a lesser extent, me and Tulas. If these current cases are 2 Subordinates going at eachother , while 2-3 leaders sit back, and laugh at everyone... I hate those kind of games

Like I said, it's just a hunch. I agree with your point about people being quiet - there isnt really much else for the people who are around to discuss, unless there's some sort definitive giveaway as to a faction leader's identity in the last 5 pages. It also allows a lot of room for drivebye votes once the clock starts to hit single digits, since everyone's defense is then 'we needed the lynch and we were running out of time'. Now is exactly the time to be discussing things, and this is normally the busiest time of day mafia-wise, unless there's an abnormally large number of aussies playing or the americans are actually working at work.

Well it's a good point, almost half of this game is getting by without trying. The pace has already slowed slightly because Ano is gone, maybe it's best for all of the vocal players to just lynch a low poster!

Ok, time had past, ruse had pointed out spites possible sympage, but the change of opinion still stood out for me.

Errrr, i think i mentioned the possibility of him being a leader before Ruse came on with his leader case. I mentioned it before he had Ano had come back though iirc so i didnt really have a lot to go on. By the time i returned Ano had come back and made some comments which made me more sure, and Ruses Symp theory fitted into it as well so i voted for him. I dont really see much of a change of opinion there.

@Meanas yeah going back a bit more carefully over your earlier posts i was probably wrong tying you too Ano, it was just one of your posts that i remembered standing out to me the first time i read it, but going through your other posts you pushed a bit too hard on him for him to be your leader. I think i just jumped to the connection because of your post about Spite.

So, a tie between Spite and Okaros? Hmm, I don't want to waste time on a member of a leaderless faction, which Spite probably is, instead of a faction that could recruit - I'm hoping no subordinates can recruit, though, that would be annoying - so although I'm not entirely convinced by the case on Okaros I'm going to vote so anyway.

The Emperor proceeded to Anyi to establish his capital there. The procession enetered Anyi, but finding no building with an upper story, the royal couple had to stay beneath the thatched roof of a simple farmhouse without a gate. A screen of brambles on all sides took the place of an outer wall. In the farmhouse the Emperor conferred with his ministers while the generals stood guard outside. There, the court first learned new reports that the armies of Sun Ce, Yang Feng, Liu Biao and Gongsun Du had all fallen. The chaos was on all sides now...

Not really a change of opinion, just you seemed to go from being quite uncertain to pretty confident.

You did mention the possibility of him being a leader, but you didn't seem to be that behind it.

As you say, the increase in certainty could be down to simply anos posts(thus why I didn't vote) which would explain it. It just occured to me that you could have become more behind it because your leader was. So I decided to throw it out there as a possibility to see how you'd react. Your reaction seems pretty legit, because if you were ruses sub I think you'd react a bit more strongly.

@Ruse,

Mostly I voted Okaros because his play was lukewarm to start, and he's just been squirrely since then. Each subsequent post has done little to deny that he might be important. Have you noticed that in his attempts to deflect attention from him he hasn't tried to suggest who else might be a leader? He's just pushing on Spite. That reeks more of trying to push attention elsewhere, rather than actually adding to the game (something I accused him of at the start). If he wasn't getting this pressure, I'm sure he'd just be trying to coast.
