The problem is that too many of you are trying to shoe-horn completely wrong A-list actors into these roles.

Most of these actors just don't look very hard-bitten. They have no rawness to them - fair, soft-skinned city dwellers with over-modulated voices. Absolutely no known actor could play Fiddler, for example.

for Fiddler, how about Richard Burton circa wild geese:

2.) Brad Pitt as Tehol Beddict. A bit too old, but with some voice training (he's too nasally mid-American) it could work. I had originally thought of him as Paran, but he's definitely too old for that.

No way, could see Kevin Spacey as Tehol, l reckon he could do off a character with a very dry sense of humor, maybe working with Dustin Hoffman as Bugg?

5.) The Arab guy from The Mummy would be a good Corabb.

Like this, maybe the Guy who played the actual Mummy as Leoman and the other as Corabb? or vice verser?

And as long as we're talking Firefly, the actor that plays Jayne would make a good heavy.

Indeed. I reckon Alan Tudyk could play as a Falari-but I'm not sure who...

Hmmm, maybe Alan Tudyk as Tehol?

And QB MUST have a Brit accent. Come to think of it, I don't think many of them would work with north American accents.

Well, Kevin McKidd would be good but not as Fiddler, actually I would see the other actor Ray Stevenson, the one who play Titus Pullo.
For Ganoes, why not the guy in Avatar: Sam Worthington? And Djimon Hounsou for Quick Ben?

I just had a vision of Johnny Depp as Tehol Beddict ... and it was beautiful.
I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.
