Perhaps the other coven members were recruited? We are only guessing that it is town only that can be recruited. Indeed from the earlier scene it looks like one of the wolves has gone missing.

I already addressed this possibility and said that in terms of the standard mythos of vampires and werewolves, it didn't make a lot of sense for Coven vampires to be 'recruited' by werewolves or other vamps.

Well, I'll eat my words with a side of brown rice, please. You were right (although possibly by wrong reasoning) about Serc, and well done nailing the Coven. However, I find it strange that a whole faction is eliminated and yet only 1 person is dead from it. Now, its possible any other coven members will be distributed among other factions, or among the other 2 vampire factions, or even that we'll be given their CFs come day break. But its still odd that their end leaves no trail of blood. Just 1 splatter and...nada. I'm off to lunch, be back when I can.

I personally find your potential scenario to be extremely unlikely. Cullen got worked hard by a rookie mistake, yet clearly since we haven't seen a 'Cullen are destroyed' message, it doesn't seem possible that they were 'redistributed' into the other factions. Coven were 3 kills from winning, why should we assume that they'd have other members get moved around?

If you remember the Lies game, Dibs and Obdi were the power players on their faction and both got lynched off Days 1 and 2 and that faction was disseminated to the other factions and that caused some anguish after the game because two factions got an extra member and a 3rd faction got nothing because they had already started with a slightly higher amount.

So I really doubt the faction was broken up. They seem unequivocally destroyed.

Kate is still an Irish name. A very popular one at that. Trust me, I have a fairly specialized field of knowledge here, having a long Irish family history. Damn Scottish sheep police, chasing the old ancestors onto that God forsaken rock, all those dr00ds and the shit. Finally got away when the potatoes started dying.

Yeah that may be the case but Kate isn't in the Irish Coven. She's in the Denali Coven, as I earlier quote posted from Wikipedia, and Denali is a place in Alaska. Wikipedia says:

I'd say it's just a generic coven of foreign vampires, who either started with one member and a zombie and we got mad lucky to get them both in the span of a single day, or it was a small group of vampires who somehow got broken apart via recruitment. I doubt it matters if it was a Irish or Denali coven, but if I had to pick one, I'd go with Denali based upon Serc's CF.
