Got to say though, whenever I've had the chance to play scum, I've been mortally afraid of over-interacting early. Doesn't really come naturally - I don't really have the stomach to play by the seat of my pants like that.

As I've said, I was trying to get a serious(ish) discussion started early. We needed a grain of sand for our Mafia pearl to grow around - I thought I'd try and provide that. I've done a bit of re-read, and nothing pops out at me. I don't think I can decide on who to vote for based on what is going on at the moment, and there is not even a train where I can cast my vote to help ensure a lynch. After this post, I need to leave and won't be back in time for deadline (unless I finish what I've got going on much earlier than I hope to expect).

Doubtful I'd have relied upon something like that if I actually came to be making a case on you, but OK, I can't deny that I have based cases on flimsier stuff in my time. Thing is though, as a scum tactic seeding like that isn't very effective. I'd have to know that in the future you would make a mistake that would give me enough to push a lynch, which is far from a certainty. I choose 1 player (well, OK, 2 players if you count the post I looked at of Kalse's) to focus my attentions on and get lynched, and I'm going to be seen obsessing pretty quickly, no? Or are you expecting me to finger half the game's players?

LOL, I have been strung up over lesser crap.

A good seeder will plant on three to five players in the first 24-48 hrs.

It has always been a very effective scum tactic.
