slow weekend as always. I'll drop by occasionally but I've got a lot going on this weekend unfortunately.
First nice day in weeks- clear blue sky and temp that doesn't require a jacket. But no, I get to be inside working. Fantastic.
Good to see that no deaths occured.
I am wondering about the sabotage mechanic though, specifically if it is a NA.
Because if it is then perhaps something like that went down last night.
I could see it working two ways, potentially. Either the malfunctions from the sabotage are undetectable (or only detectable to our engineer/ Scotty person)
and eventually add up causing some kind of big attack against us, or little things occur like an airlock opens with a crewmember inside.
If the former then it could have happened last night and we wouldn't know, if the latter then it didn't happen.
I could be completely off base, but that what comes to mind when you think of sabotage aboard a ship.
But anyway I feel that figuring out this mechanic is important, so that we can prevent it.

I'll be here on and off over the weekend.
So, what I'm getting from Telas' speculation about sabatoge, it takes more than a single night to set up and get a result. But, I would speculate that even if it's an airlock-single-death idea, it could STILL mean that it needs a night to set up. No reason to assume otherwise.

I'm thinking they may have to choose between a NK or a night working on the sabotage(multi-night to finish).

My computer is being a bitch and crashing every five minutes...don't think I'm going to have the patience to talk tonight

@Anthras,
My first thought actually, was "since when do klingons have patience for sabotage?" but I agree your speculation could also be true.
With no day or night deaths, and not much to go on, I'm ready to start shoving at low posters.

I don't know how much time I'll be able to devote to the thread over the weekend, but I have a couple of hours right now. Good to see there's nobody dead...but I don't really think this leaves us in any better a position than we were in yesterday.

Well we can hope the power roles acted and maybe gleamed some info from the night. Shit maybe if there is a guard and hit well last night.

Ok, just because I had time and this caught my eye, I am actually presenting a case.
That case is, Telas is a symp, likely Korlat's.
-------------------------
His first post has two things, one is "he missed the launch" and has to be "beamed aboard". Also, he "supposes" cheese is a delicious food. This could be signalling to klingon brethren that he understands and is with them.
-----------------
Here, he sets his microwave to 2:00, but then says it is 2:00 - the time incongruity struck me. And then, he says the quarters aboard this ship are not up to par. What par would that be, pray tell? A klingon's ship? Does "2:00" have some significance?
---------------------
Here is a bad pun, but "eye see you for what you are" seems like a BIG HINT that he is using a dumb pun to signal. And then, he says he's on a bad pun streak, although it is a streak of only ONE pun. Makes me feel there is some downplaying here of that "Eye" see you for what you are" post.
--------------
This entire interaction is between Korlat, Telas and I, but he ends it all with a nod to Korlat, saying this:
---------------
Then, when he logs in the next day, his first comment is again directed to Korlat (who is complaining about editing his paper)
----------------
And his NEXT post is also at Korlat, again calling him clever and referring back to "pun-appreciation".
------------
Put all together, this appears almost smackingly obvious as signalling. He may be a spammer, but that doesn't mean he's not scum!
Vote Korlat

yup that was really a cheesy opening. Though I suppose cheese is a delicious food.

but really 2:00 is the time to cook soup, which is what I did.
I wish my microwave would respond but I'm afraid my quarters aboard the ship aren't exactly up to par.

ooohhh that was clever.
I do understand. One time I had to drop a 9 page paper to 7 pages. It sucked deciding what had to be edited out.
edit: @Korlat. X-posts got in the way of my pun appreciation.

I AM A SHEEP.
Vote Korlat
I would rather vote Ampelas simply because Thyrllan opened up today with more QQ-style posting. Speed lynches are definitely bad in most cases, but isn't anyone else at least somewhat concerned with how Ampelas didn't manage to pick up any votes from the last group people who showed up in the day?

Actually, just read over that again. I mean, sure you had to reread the (spam) thread to find that but when you look at it its really incredibly obvious sympage. Now, at this point its the best we've got, so I don't think I'm gonna remove my vote, but isn't it possible that he's fake symping Korlat to steer this?

Of course it's possible Tennes, that's why we wait and see what happens today.

Considering how absurdly stupid your arguments were, no not really. It's more surprising that so many immediately jumped on the vote in my opinion.
The Korlat case is pretty well done considering how little content there's to go on in this thread. However, as there's seemingly plenty of sheep willing to throw in the beginning votes I'll hold my vote until we hear from Telas and Korlat.

All I got out of that is,
"Waaaa, I appear to be crying over voting for someone else." First Ampelas, now Korlat?
