Well that was certainly entertaining. And no, I have no idea what any of it means, but it certainly helped pass the time.

Hey guys. I don't normally like to talk much at night, but I'll at least check in and drop some thoughts. The CF seems simple enough to me - obviously we lynched the master of disguise who has multiple identities. I'd suspect his main ability was that anyone who did a find on him would've found him as being on their own team. No reliable way to know what team he was *really* on, though...

All the little mini-scenes throughout the night are very cool. I think near the end there there was some repeated characters, like the Dragunov-sniper and the business-woman. This to me seems like they could either do multiple actions or one scene is their action and another is an action being done on them.

-blond woman (who got chinese food)
-dark-skinned man (fails to kill blond woman)
-man with grey hair (trying to recruit weathered-face-man)
-man with weathered face and dogtags (probably an american based on the dogtags)
-Delta (irish, minigun) (probably american)
-man with weathered face, also narrow-eyed, violen -> possible the same as the other weathered-face man
-woman in immaculate business suit [appears twice]
-car loving guy

Back, but I see I'm all but alone. I'll be doing other things and will check the thread infrequently. I just want to say I think the fight with the brute and the Hispanic man may have been a failed recruit. It would make sense to me that the Hispanic man could be a syndicate man and the brute seems like a typical American or Russian archetype who was a target for recruitment. He then rebuffed the scum and beat him up. The reason behind my logic is that if it was a vig failing due to a BP I wouldn't expect anybody to be hurt in the scene.

She slunk slowly out of the shadows. Her willowy frame encased in its skin-tight dark leathers moved easily onto the street. She looked straight ahead as she approached her destination. It was tall, far taller than most in this district. They usually were tall, of course. That was part of the thrill.

She scaled it swiftly. If someone had watched her, it would not have been a stretch to say she made love to the wall as she scaled it. She purred to herself with a small laugh when she reached the penthouse patio door, marveling her skills. Nobody was home, of course, and she was certain there was some unopened champagne inside, just waiting to be consumed.

She had delivered it.

It would be a quiet night, but that was enough for her.

Hugo Gremio opened his shutters as dawn crept into his suite. His wife was still asleep, but that was nothing new. The bombshell was mostly for looks. And sex.

He had slept fairly well, despite the news that had arrived. Who was this mysterious individual that had been captured and executed? He opened the door of his suite and saw a large stack of folders, pictures, and paperwork outside. The result of last night's work.

He didn't smile. He rarely smiled. But he was glad La Policia was still at work. He bent down to gather the papers and look them over.

Somewhere, a rooster crowed.

PB here, and all caught up again. If there were any other PMs or questions, feel free to ask. To clarify, however:

It is now Day 2. Everyone is Level 1. Please note your actions to determine if they may be used in that particular phase (day, night) BEFORE you send in actions in the future.

Day already! Well no deaths so a pretty good night then.

Looking back at the lynch and the CF I'm not sure what to make of it. A member of all 4? I'm not sure if that is scum, but I'd say maybe a symp? Its certainly not something I'd have expected to see.

Only 150 posts till Level 2 - Mr Mod, does it mean Level 3 is only 1300? Or still 1500.

Level 3 will be 1300 posts. Keep in mind that you also level once for every 3 deaths, too.

The man lay low underneath the brush. He had awakened a few hours ago and prepared head to the designated point, but something in the air didn't smell right, however, and grumbling, he decided to stay put.

~~

He looked over the paperwork in his hand, casually thumbing the pages in the middle of the conversation.

"Yes, of course. I'm well aware of the significance here. That's why you brought me in, isn't it?" He smiled that sheepish smile that made him look 10 years younger and stood up.

"Right then, I have some reading to do."

Well no night deaths, that's a positive! However, reading those story progression scenes, besides the ones that were possibly about recruitment, it seemed as though there were a lot of small actions taking place that'll have future repercussions. For example, rigging the car, the guy setting up what looked to be a sniper shot, (volushinkov), and the setting up of a "fortress."

I don't know what exactly to take from the conflicts that happened, if they were failed vigs, possibly guards, or even recruitment (the Spanish looking guy), but it seems as though, night one was meant to advance goals, which makes a kind of sense with the what Tapper and PB were shooting for.

As for Korvalain, I'm pretty sure Path-Shaper said earlier on that scum would CF as syndicate, and all of Korvalain's were spy. He could have been a symp though due to the four id's given, and we don't have another CF to compare it to, but it would make a demented sort of sense to do that for every person, so that no nationality would easily know who was losing more players or who had the most left.

Thoughts?

Interesting suggestion, but I thought P-S had said we'd get a proper CF of role-alignment-spy/scum from people. I think it was probably a role specific CF, but I was sorta hoping someone would die and give us more info. I know, that's a terrible thing to say, but without another CF to compare it makes it difficult to place him.

Wow, all that action and no one died. Good news, though I'm still not sure what it means.

What do you mean by role-specific CF, like the suggestions that were made of a neutral player or player whose role hadn't been activated yet? I'll try to look for the PS post that I was thinking of.

Edit: x post

I found it before as I was trying to make sense of of the nights CF. Its page 8, didn't get the post number..

Quote

CF is in effect. It displays the following.

Character name - Faction - Spy or scum.

Player name and role description are left out.

So I dunno, I'd say if we see someone else's CF and its all 4 factions then we can say thats how its going to be for everyone. If its just the one faction then I'd say we hit a symp of some sort.

Guess I was wrong, it might say scum as opposed to syndicate.
