All right. I've got to go. I'll be gone for most of the afternoon/evning I assume, but not to worry, I will return.
Can you please explain this? Because I must have missed that. Silchas was really the one who stopped the spam, IMO, with his post saying that scum probably level up and get a helping hand. He equated my spam to that of a speed-lynch. And that made sense to me, so I stopped the blantant crap. Well, that and the PS warning. Thats also the reason I dont think hes particularly scummy. Scum wouldn't call out spammers, if they are helping them.
Now granted, he might be scum and not be helped by leveling up, but it was a sensible post and one I think that should be considered as a possibility.
This is a load of nonsense. Scum, at least those who know what they're doing, are more than willing to take actions and give advice that go against their own interest. More often than not it's by far more important to be considered a likely inno. I know I go into games where am I the killer with the aim to be considered a strong part of the inno team and not a likely killer. Don't you?

Ok back till close to the lynch I hope.
Reading though I see there is a case on Silchas Ruin. However I gotta agree with Omtose - I picked up almost all of the same infomation reading the OP. Thought most of it was pretty obvious myself so not sure if people are playing dense or what. I did read it more carefully than a normal game of Mafia though, maybe if you skimmed it you might have missed some parts.
HP's vote is a bit weird, why would he vote someone for not being British? Surely we should be hunting scum? In a normal game its hard enough, if we're going to start going for people beause they're not British, or British or whatever then we're really playing into scum hands. Infighting among the groups is what scum are after so that makes me a little suspicious.
Think I need to reread the last couple pages, a couple people's posts jumped out at me.

Sorry I meant Hood's Path vote on me.
The stirring the pot suggests he wanting to see people reactions to it by being random voter.
Not sure about Galain, I'm not sure if his spamming was a joke or to put him in good place, by having an artifically high post count he appears to be contributing. But it seemed a bit silly the way he did it.

really? i thought it was quite blatant from the OP that we arent meant to trust people we believe are on our team because they could be scum. the best example i could find was this which is mainly abotu lovers but i think would also apply to people you think are on your faction.

8. Communication:
Communication off-thread is forbidden, unless you are a lover with someone else.
Throughout the game, lover links will be established, changed and broken. These can be between different factions and between spies and scum. Be careful what you reveal.
Every message between lovers must be CC’ed to the Hugin & Mugin account

Ok after having looked back at the people who jumped on Silchas, ive got to say id have to guess the scum would most likely be between Lio or Gam. As after the joke vote from SPite because Silchas spoke spanish Lio was the first to jump on the point that silchas said syndicate and not scum but wouldnt put a vote down, this could be a scum move to lay the foundations and put suspicion in peoples minds but gives him some time to see if people take the bait before actually putting himself onto the train.
Gamelon is possible as he was the first person who laid a proper vote on silchas because of the symp=syndicate thing and then later after that idea had been blown out brought silchas up again this time because he'd mentioned infiltrators (another thing which was strongly implied in the OP). Im not sure about Gam though as its possible he just hadnt read the OP at the start and so got suspicious of SR then after he had him in mind went looking for even the tiniest thing, but he could also be scum trying to make sure that people dont forget about him and trying to renew the train.
I think out of these two Liosan is the more likely to me, so i will go and check through his posts now see if i can see anything more

ok apart from the silchas stuff the only posts from Liosan are spam or talking about the spam, apart from one post questioning the PS interludes so not a lot to read from them either way right now.

also, 109 posts to go. 25 an hour. Barring a return of spammy Spite or a sudden burst of creativity/ gameplay by a dozen or so of you, I doubt you guys will make it.
