You know Tapper, if I didn't know better, I would think that your game might get broken if we dont level up on day one.

It's not necessary for the game at all, actually I think that finishing the game before level 5 is reached is a distinct possibility :D
But let's say that both PB and I expected that if there was a day where you could get 500 posts in a phase, it would be day 1. Also, with all the one sentence and one word posts you churned out, it would be a damned shame imho if you missed it by let's say, less than 10 posts.
Also, a lot of activity leads to more activity later on.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Buenos dias! Still trying to wrap my head around the setup, but checking in.

My take on the intro scene is that all members of the syndicate are infiltrating the other teams, so there probably are at least 4 and no one can trust anyone on their team.

Any other takes on it?

Underline added by me, that what making me wonder about silchas, ok it reads as he trying to be helpful especially the first part but this part of not trusting your own team mates has been nagging me.

That line is set to make you not trust anyone, and this is more like a merc game surely, so surely it should be work out who your team mates are as you can trust them. But if you think that there a possibility that one of them could be a traitor then you're going to be watching them, so instead of cutting down on the guys you want to keep an eye on it just makes you cautious around anyone. Which would surely suit the scum team.

The slow down the spam also sounds very reasonable, and I can't see how it could benefit scum more than any other team.

I get the original argument Emur, but since then Tapper himself came on and explained that it was an accurate assessment. That scum was indeed in our factions.

But the rulez say 500 posts = one level. So if we dont make a level now, we hit it sometime during the night phase, right? So its not really a waste.

Well we're not meant to trust anyone, in the OP its said Lovers can make connections, then lose them etc and be careful what you say to them. We're a bunch of spies, I can easily see someone being able to either listen into whats being said between lovers, or disguising themselves as British when they're really American etc etc, and thats not even starting with the syndicate infiltrating stuff.

Was it? I thought it was a good place to hide codes. Entertaining? Not so much. Mine took more talent, you try to type 99 bottles of beer, one line at a time.

I'm back on a real computer now. My vote for Emulahn is based on post 110 where he role played at missing out on "funding". In the opening post PS used that same wording with the Brits. Do I think he is a Brit? No. I don't think a Brit would risk exposing himself this early in the game. But one of the scum would try to slip that in to use as a defense later in the game.

And on the Vote on me for being a Brit, why would I risk exposing a possible member of my team. All be it a stupid one.

This is a good defense actually. I have seen several clues that were dropped all of them seemed to pertain to the British. Now is it possible that they all are british sure but the clues are so obvious as to be blinding which makes me twice as suspicious of them. It is a good catch and someone who I was looking at during my earlier spam fest.

Just to clarify, I thought you were saying he was acting like a Brit, and you seemed upset by this, for whatever reason. I do get the connection now, so I will

He is probably referring to the impressive amount of spam that has occurred since he was last on. Just a thought.

No. You only go up at the start of a phase, so if you reach 500 during the night, you only go up to level 1 when the day starts again.

Ahhh I see. If we reach 500 by the end of day one then we will go up a level for night one and if there are a couple of deaths at night then we could go up another level come the morning of day 2.

A quick question for you Tapper, do lynches count toward the death total?
