Well, I just noticed this thread and thought I should introduce myself, despite several months of posting. I've been lurking on and off for like 3 years, and only recently felt the need to register and say something. You all are so good as saying what I want to say, that what I had to say was always redundant.

Been reading MBotF since '04, when zwit foisted them on me, for which I can never thank him enough (and if anyone has any advice for getting a stubborn ox to pick up GotM, zwit and I would be much obliged). I read them in the 6 months of unemployment following college, when my main source of income was plasma donation--Book 1 of HoC will always make me think of freezing to death in the lab with a needle in my arm.

I'm an aspiring writer, poet, rock climber, and gardener with an unhealthy coffee habit and obsession with gnomes.

Ah ha. So there is a SE forms site. As most people have said once or twice, i found/am finding the series great. Coincidently i found this site through Deviantart.com, cheers to slaine-69. ive had the first book for about 3 or so years and have only really gotten into the series after a move to another country, Macau/Macao if anyone else would have any sort of idea where it is i'd be surprised (an hour by ferry from Hong Kong). I'll keep on trying to keep up posting but grade 12's hitting me quite had so ill do as be us "new blood" can. :)

I didn't understand a god damn word of that last line, but welcome Jimms.

Also an official welcome to Epiph. Any friend of the guy most responsible for attempting to save everything over the last few weeks is a friend of mine. I really don't think Z gets enough praise for his efforts, especially considering the last couple of weeks (stop being disappointed at SE bringing back dead characters though! :)).

Hmm, even i don't understand what I'm saying. Probably too much time spent study Chemistry, Physics and Calculus.

NZ definitely mate, you go out and there's smog everywhere in the cities, actually make that everywhere. I miss actually watching Rove rather than having to podcast it.Oh, and the bloody lovely scenery.

I've never actually struck gold but finding this forum must come pretty close, so greetings to all and thanks for the wealth of information collated here.

I'm just about to start TtH and am attempting to fill in the gaps in my understanding of the series so far before I begin. That being so I wonder if anyone could point me in the direction of a discussion on the Azath (I still don't get quite what they are) as I've been lurking for a few days and so far my search has been in vain.

Many thanks in advance.....

It's mixed disappointment and pleasure. I do love seeing them again.

Evening All, I am Shapefinder. What to say, what to say. I am rather quiet, I don't post often and they are usually short and to the point or about music, A flourishing masturbation of words are impressive, is mostly not my thing. I have only been reading this series for about a month and a half and I am currently waiting (impatiently) for my copy of BH to get in. A friend of mine put me onto the series when we discovered we liked similar authors, David Gemmell, Raymond Fiest, Brian Lumley etc. Then I found a forum on stalkbook (facebook) and it mentioned on there that this place existed, so here I am to fully immerse myself in the Malza world.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving from Nova Scotia Canada. I have been reading this forum for at least 2 years and discovered SE when Gardens was on sale at Chapters - I really liked both the cover and the sale price and have read all the books that are available here. I do appreciate all the comments and many times confusion over passages etc have been made clear. Thought I would kill a few hours while awaiting the arrival of my guests for a turkey eating orgy. Cheers, Catherine
