It was a great night and I regret leaving early to go club hopping... not least because I woke up in a taxi in Liverpool and had to pay the guy £90 for taking me home. I finally got over the hangover just in time to teach today... I think next year I will book a hotel and staple the address to my forehead... that and never separate from the safety of the group..Thanks all ... it was just what I needed.

BEHOLD THE MIGHTY MINGE!!! :D

Well, when I woke up today, that was a phrase I didn't imagine myself using....

I did suggest to Cougar that he might want to consider the Brazilian for Christmas....... All for charity of course!

The disgusted look on Mrs Cougar's face tells me that he probably does this a lot... And Rodeo's expression of horror is priceless. :D

I like Cougar's pouty lips. They really seal the whole deal.

I am still extremely hoarse from Saturday night. So hoarse in fact that I have just had to go and ask a rather emminent Professor if he will cover for me if my voice craps out during my 30min seminar tomorrow!!

I know it's already Wednesday, but cleaning up the mess the poodles made while I was gone and being sick has kept me busy for the past 3 days... Still, I wanted to say that it was great to see you all again and to meet the new people. I had great time, managed to keep halfway sober almost till the end, haven't done anything extraordinarily stupid (oh, yeah... except for that palm-reading thingy... that was not me - that was my drunk twin sister...) so I would say the evening was an absolute win. You people are absolutely awesome - I love you all! :)

Always a pleasure to see Dag again and she has promised to come and help clear my trees of dead branches on her next visit

Already looking forward to it. :D Do you think they'll let me take my chain saw with me on the plane...?

Dag, I'm sorry I smiled so much.

And I'm sorry we Austrians don't have the Canadian sense of humour. <_< It was great to meet you in person, Rodeo - I'll wave back next time, I promise! :p

*looks at pics* And this was Brood being on his best behavious???!?!?! :)

Great pics all of ya! I regret now that I left early. You guys look like there was still a lot of partying going on much later. But I was getting tired from speaking and listening in english all the time while the music got louder and louder. And I noticed that more and more danish words slipped into my speech. Must have been the biksemad from Kro (translates to Inn) speaking. <_<

Mezla was being most civilised, and like everybody very pleasant to talk to. It is so comforting that you can travel to another country and still be able to communicate sensibly and share good humor and some refreshing beer.

Like Dag I have been swamped most of the time since I came back. Not only is it a busy time at work right now but I am also packing all my things and sorting stuff before I move to my new appartment. I have pictures from the meetup that will be posted as soon as I find the cable to transfer the pics from the camera to my laptop. Some silly person has packed the cable in an unregstered box...

I can't wait till next time we have a meetup. My account manager might disagree though. :crybaby:

Good luck with the packing Trem. I am under strict orders to report back to Mr PigDog if you watch the comedy tv series he recommended. Was it Jam and The Mighty Boosh? Your and SM's tastes in tv comedy did a lot to swing the vote in favour of him meeting internet people again :crybaby:

And Dag is sick after another meetup? Manchester must not agree with you!

Do not watch Jam, it's not worth it. Listen to Blue Jam instead, it's the original series and was broadcast on the radio, they made Jam for TV and it doesn't work as well.

Get on with the Boosh though it rocks.

It's the English weather that doesn't agree with me... :crybaby:

...although, to be fair, this time I think it wasn't English weather alone - I wasn't feeling well already on Friday, and I think everyone noticed that on Saturday I kept even quieter than my usual quiet lurking self. In any case, now I have fever, my throat is sore, my lungs are on fire, my nose is bleeding and there's apparently an evil dwarf in my head hitting my eyeballs with a hammer from the inside. And instead of staying in bed, I have to go out into the -3 degrees cold and drag myself to the office and do all the things that my poodles can't handle by themselves. <_<

I've also been unwell since returning home which is why I haven't posted any pics yet. Hopefully we'll get them on here soon.

Dag I thought the reason you were normally quiet at the meetups is cos Cougar is normally talking and you don't understand his thick northern accent?? :crybaby:

Elaine says that if you manage to pack a haflinger in your luggage as well, she will get you a special dispensation for the chainsaw. And we don't mind you not bringing Mozartkughl - just put a nice gruner veltliner in instead :crybaby:

Ouch. :p I hope you two will get well soon!

I'm already half-way out of this miserable state - I could sleep normally last night, without pieces of toilet paper stuck up my nose in order to prevent all the green slime from flooding my bed. By Christmas I should hopefully be fit again... just in time to catch all the unpleasant flu-like thingies that my nephews will bring home from school and kindergarden... :p
