@Mezla: How's the doctorate life threating you?
@Cause: IIRC you were close to leaving for college when I left. How'd that turn out?

I was all confused until I saw the 2009 time stamps. That was just as I was coming back to the forums myself after a 3 year hiatus.
Seeing several of those who were welcoming Fool back, I was thinking "what the hell, it's not like they're here much either."

I'm coming up on my 10 year forum anniversary. I don't know how to feel about this. Is it a good or a bad thing that I keep coming back? I haven't even finished Stonewielder

I still have Assail sat on my kindle, but oh man, time flies.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I genuinely had to look up what Stonewielder was. I hope reading Erikson - or worse, Esslemont - isn't a prerequisite for staying on these forums?

There was/is someone who was here for a solid year without having read any of the Malazan books.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
