Well that was a bloody disaster!

For info, I guarded Ment. Take that as you will but Ment will be cursing me in SH I guess.

Of those of us left and befroe I re-read the thread (again) Alt's "lets all vig early" is still smelly.

Meh!

So, we lost a RI, Vig, and Guard. Dkt was a vig.

Leaving 3 healers, 2 guards, 2 RI, and 1 Vig.

None of the vigs were/are scum (I'm not). We have two killers one symp. Two kills today puts wcs scum at, even with no lynch, 3 scum 3 town. That makes it basically D-Day, unless PB was a symp and we got lucky hitting him.

Hinter claims he guarded Ment.
I didn't Vig.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Unfortunately, you not vigging means nothing if you're a killer, now does it?
And if scum cannot take 2 kills but share one, you've been lying now, too, but with a lynch, according to your own schedule, scum could then still win so we'd never catch you, would we?
Moreover, as vig-killer scum, vigging now would be spectacularly bad play, wouldn't it, basically admitting there is a scum vig? Even if Ment lived, it would have been a 50/50 which way the accusing big fat finger of a lynch would have swung, and the other of you would surely have been guarded.

I'm not saying you're scum but if the above was intended as a claim of innocence, well, not vigging is basic clean play for a killer who has a vig, too, so you're currently not cleared. I'm curious as to who Silencer guarded, or if he stuck to his no-action policy. If he did, it would be a damned shame cause he can CI someone, unless Hinter lied and guarded Silencer, of course... * head spins *

On the upside, we are left with all healers and 2 guards, so there's quite a chance that we can stall the killers. I just wish I was more useful than a fork when served soup when it comes to night actions :D.

Just me saying that I think it's d-day, and why, and where I view the game.

But, I do find it interesting, and you don't have to believe me at all but I know it to be true, that none of the vigs were scum. Now, viewing it from that perspective:

2 scum killers (Ment couldn't have vigged, if we believe Hinter, and I didn't) could be any combination of the other 3 groups.

Healer-killer scares me the most, as they are then immune to my night vig. Which could be why we were given day vig ability.

Guard - killer is slightly less overpowered, but can still block my vig.

RI - killer, regular killer.

I don't know, just getting some thoughts out there, as somebody has to do so.

Ment could not have vigged, due to Hinter's guard (if we believe Hinter), and I didn't vig last night, therefore we have 2 independent scum killers. Wasn't written all that well.

OK

Got to say this nice shiny new board, whilst excellent in many ways, is screwing with my Mafia MO. It's a real ballsache trying to look at a single player's posts and thus spot patterns or unusual behaviour.

Mappo, Alt, Veng, who did you heal last night?

How do you screw up your N/A, Silencer?

I healed you, Hoosier. I figured scum might try to take out the vigs, and I couldn't think of a better option. Like I said before, there was really nothing to go on.

Read my post again, Hoosier. :D

I didn't submit an action, which for a guard is stupid.

Why didn't you submit an action, that's what I'm asking. Purposefully or accidentally? It seems like you are saying it was accidental, I just want to know what caused the accident.

I think the accident was that the deadline was in the early morning for Silencer, and he just went to bed unthinking. I know I almost did.

Anyway, we won't be getting an answer from Alt for a while, as he's asleep now, and Venge is soon to be, if not already.
