If you have a big enough pen drive you can take the install and play it wherever.

Got to 31 on my charr guardian, did the first dungeon - Ascalon Catacombs, in the charr starter zone Plains of Ashford, min level 30 for story and 35 for explorable. A lot of fun, especially now they added an anvil so you can repair your armour when you die (and you will die, a lot). Today will be the big test though, as everyone else gets to log in for the first time and the servers explode again. Can't wait for the trading post to go up again, I want to sell drops and buy crafting mats already!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I made it to 16 this morning. I've finished the maps for Rata Sum and Lion's Arch; like Shiara said, Lion's Arch was tricky. Rata Sum was a bit as well because it's hard to determine which level of the Borg cube the pois, vistas and waypoints are. I'm almost finished with Metrica Province and can't wait to get to the next zone. I seriously need to get a new PC tho, WvW with more than 30 people makes it freeze or run like a slideshow. Time to open a kickstarter.

I got the invite for Onearm's Host, but nothing seemed to happen when I clicked the 'Join Guild' button. I'm in a guild presently and tried not representing them and clicking the button, as well as re-logging, all to no avail. I'll try again tomorrow.

Before I logged off last night I finished 100%ing all the major cities
Also, using scorpion wire in WvW is hilarious and fun. Probably a little rage inducing for the fort defender I pull off the walls to get mobbed by all the attackers, though :)

How did you get into the Catacombs with a party? I tried with three different groups, and none of us were getting into the same instance. We tried logging off, reforming the group, made sure we were all on the same server (not overflow) when we entered...

So my poor self decided to buy this game. If anything I will have to work the street corner a bit more. Its downloading now, seems like I will be going over my bandwidth limit and paying for it. More time on street corner.

Edit: So I joined the Maguuma place as well and I'm trying to play the game. No idea what im doing. Combat is kinda wierd, having to keep pressing numbers. Well I have all night today to get used to the game.

As of last night I am just shy of level20 and finally finished 100% on my starting map, I've now moved on to the next area huzzah!

I saw a bunch of people going in last night in parties, I think there are some storyline/level requirements all party members have to meet before being able to go in.

Ok guys, hopefully the Aussies have started building the guild bank, so we have ~2 days before that is finished.

What do we want to do next? I would suggest the Guild Workshop so we can build two upgrades at once. I imagine we will want to purchase everything, but this wiki page details what stuff does what.

http://wiki.guildwar...War#Acquisition

Also, it looks like 1G can buy 500 Influence, so it isn't too bad, I've already made and spent over 2G.

No worries, I was able to accept the invite yesterday afternoon. Thanks

Finally got into AC with a pug. We wiped on trash a couple times (especially the three ranger group before the ranger boss), but never wiped on a boss. The final boss can be soloed by a ranged. Also, I had a lot of fun and look forward to playing more.

Yeah, AC is weird that the silver mobs are harder than most of the bosses, and the one they aren't harder than can be made easier if you throw boulders at them to keep them apart.

Also I found all three jumping puzzles in Lion's Arch (oh yes, there's more than just Sharkmaw Caverns) and I have no idea how anyone could have found Troll's End except by accident, but considering the jumps you have to make in itwhile the camera is completely screwed? Very aptly named. Also got me a full set of steel armour, and it looks niiiiice.

Oh really?
And awesome, I love hidden things
I may hit you up for some vague hints to finding them at some point (I enjoy actually trying to find them, at least for a little while :)).

Illy send me an ingame male with the starting AND ONLY STARTING location of those, if you would be so kind. Ive got to 100% LA pretty soon here and I'd love to try the jumping puzzles.

Guys,

I'll be installing and playing this tonight. Is there a recommendation for what server I should be in for the malazan guild? I'm in the UK and my display name is: Hocknose.7241

Cheers
