Also here is a picture of concept art for Zhaitan, the Elder Dragon of Undeath that's the main bad guy for release GW2. I'm not sure how old this is, so he'll probably be bigger ingame.

We've heard resistance from some of our friends about being on the same server as a GOON guild. Not knowing their reputation from personal experience, is this a valid concern?

From what I understand they are a strong guild with a lot of PvPers. This shouldn't, imo, concern us as we wont WvW against them (rather with them) and there really isn't anything they can do to you in pve.

The only thing I'm thinking thats possible is them using up all the WvWvW spots when we want to play, but that is going to be an issue on any and every single shard we might roll on, assuming there are limits to people in WvWvW, which I'm not to sure of.

About 500 people per map, four maps total.

There are not 1000 goons in Goon Squad, let alone 2000. And a lot of them will be doing PVP/PVE or messing around in dungeons anyway.

Oh god I managed to sneak into the level 70-75 zone immediately before Orr with my level 3 dude! (gained one level purely by running past points of interest and waypoints)

There are no renown hearts, there is a keep called Fort Trinity and the first event I saw there was for repairing the megalasers so that they can take out the boneship in the harbour and allow the Invasion of Orr

Ok, I will probably be buying this game as I never tried this type of game before. Mostly for the multiplayer. Is there some sort of group or guild thing people are setting up with all the malaznites from here? If so I would like to join and play with some of you guys. Is there anything I should know, join a certain server or some shit like that?

Me and a bunch of the Aussies are going Maguuma, not sure about other people. Although if you don't want to do WvW that much it's not as important since you can do the rest of the game from anywhere.

Also I was totally going to make a Malazan guild but I'm going to be too busy with this other one to run it properly.

Fun fact: not only is there a yellow dye called Banana, it's also a skin shade for the sylvari.

Also you can make unidentified dyes in Cooking.

Also refine raw crafting materials into ingots/planks/fabric whatevers until you don't get exp anymore, then use discoveries to level up much faster than grinding. Make, say, using Armoursmithing as an example, a bronze boot panel, a cloth boot lining, and a malign insignia from the menu, then go into the Discovery pane at the top of the crafting window and stick all three in there, and you'll discover a new recipe and gain double exp for doing so. There are literally hundreds of recipes for crafting and I am going to die before I find them all

After you do a couple hearts to get money, go into the city and get a sickle, a pick, and an axe. GATHER ALL THE NODES.

You can send everything you gather to your bank to save space, but nodes are personal and have personal countdown timers, there is no reason to NOT gather everything.
