The idea of Scandinavia versus everyone else is dumb. You should have as many teams as areas are represented.
i.e.:
-Team Scandinavia
-Team Brits
-Team SA (if any of 'em will join)
-Team USA
-Team Canada
-Team Aussie/NZ

That way you have the added suspense/drama/thrill of teams losing the lead when a member drops, and then dropping out completely until it is down to the final 2 and so on and so forth...

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Can we play The Star Spangled Banner after Team America wins?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I'm in for the Saffers, more by default than by any anything else :( Also - from the way it worked out last time, only two of the three major timezone areas (America, Britian, Australia) present on this forum can compete at any one time. So maybe GMT vs Oz should be round three.

Also - weekends would definitely be better for me.

Ok the best way to do this is as late as posible for euros/saffers. If you people around GMT can hold off until the wee hours of the morning, say 1 or 2, it gives us aussies a chance to at least have breakfast before we start. The namericans will have a comfortable afternoon start.

So, apt, tt, alt, mac, morg, illy how late is too late for yas?

That's pretty god damn late. Denmark/Scandinavia are at +1 GMT, or this being summer time +2 GMT. We're an hour ahead of England.

But of course we can try, I may need to take a nap or something, to be able to function at those hours.

And if we can get a team together for tonight...? tomorrow ? Then I will be up for it.

I'm not too comfortable starting before 11am so if it's before GMT0100 I'm out.

Webcams as proof of drinking could be an option. Although having about 30 cams on the go at once is not really feasible I guess...

Honestly, who would be sad enough to lie about drinking in a drinking contest? That's pathetic.

Getting wasted at 10 in the morning? Sounds like a good Sunday. :(

That's 3am for me,which is a little too late. Like I said before, it's best to split this up: round one was GMT+ vs GMT-, next we can do GMT vs GMT-, then GMT vs GMT+. It can be like the Tri-Timezones or something :( So far the GMT-'s are one up on the GMT+'s.

I could possibly manage this weekend, if my girlfriend doesnt mind, since she's coming to visit. Set it for an afternoon start for the Americans, which should be sometime in the evening for us.

Ha! then you can show at uni the next day with a hangover trying to concentrate and not fall asleep. Wouldn't that be fun. :p

It would be a shame if it everyone can't do it at the same time, but as alt146 pointed out, it probably wouldn't work with the different time zones.

Welcome to the fun world of organization! You all seem so put together right now............

Damn, that sounds like a lot of fun, but gosh darnit, I don't have uni on a Monday. Or a Friday. Guess I'll have to work over that hangover at home...
