Hah, we Aussies are better chums to drink with.
Alt and Shiara, thanks for putting that up, looks like quite an effort.

Well done, rarely seen a woman drink so well. Not to say that you would go far in land of the drunks, Denmark. The competition is just too hard
You should try that with Gammel Dansk next time
Eller Snaps, haha you should definetely try Akvarit Snaps

You should try that with Gammel Dansk next time

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

I am offended that you think anything is better then me screaming DAT ASS.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

That was pretty funny, although it's a bit sad to see that there where two Aussies in the comp and both of them lost. We have a reputation to maintain damn it!!!

lol! The potatoes came about during a phone call with Shiara and Centz, in which you were really quiet and sounded like a girl.
As for Mr. small pee pee, I think that is the bit of transcript shiara is talking about having missed. Part of the conversation is there, but some of it is missing. I said you were trying to get me drunk to take advantage of me, and you said all the way from Ireland. Someone said it was no big deal with hands that size, you had to have a huge member. You said it was 2000 miles long, and I said it fell short as it wasn't making it's way through my front door. Then shiara and centz were talking about how something that long wouldn't be of any use. So we decided you fell woefully short, and thus became mr. small pee pee!
The big hands mean nothing!

In a shorter time frame I would say shots are easier than beers due to sheer volume.
Also a standard shot is a standard drink, whereas most beers are 1.5 standard drinks.

Oh, anybody can pour 50 shots down their gullet. Keeping them there - that's the problem. I think you have your facts slightly off - you'd have to drink somewhere from 1.5 to as much as 2.4 beers to equal one shot of liquor (depending on alcohol contents).
I might be able to do 25 shots of 90 proof liquor in 12 hours without booting, but I'd be belligerent, breaking property and likely comatose by the end of it for sure.
And tehol did it in what... 5 hours? Without the benefits of being able to move around and mingle at a party? Ugggghhhh. Respect.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Wow. Epic transcript is EPIC. ::applauds all involved::
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Well I was drinking Angostura 1919 rum, which is 80 proof, 40% alc, but yes I did it in 5 hours.

Okay, I'm not reading all of that, but the bits and pieces I scanned were awesome.
Now on to something more serious... WHY THE HELL WASN'T I INVITED!?! WERE YOU TOO CHICKEN TO DRINK WITH THE BIG DOGS!??
Seriously, was this someting you planned in the Trickster or something? Because next time you should make preliminary announcement in the inn and try to find a date and time. I don't frequent the Trickster so I had no idea this was going on.
Next time, like morgypoo said, us Scandinavians are going to show up in force.
In fact, I'm willing to make a challenge for the next Drinking contest: SCANDINAVIANS VS BRITS AND UMERICANS! We'll crush you!

It was on a need to know basis, and we didn't want Reddit, Ebaum's World, and 4Chan to know Apty Apterson!

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

It was a trickster thing. I was lucky enough to stumble in there at the appropriate moment, but unfotunately the contest occurred at the wee hours of the GMT timezone. I agree with any GMT vs other people contest and will very poorly represent my country

Actually Apt the whole thing came about from your interview question of who would win a drinking contest between Mez and I. Mez didn't want to go head to head but centz was game. We set the whole thing up in my interview thread. I then PMed everyone who seemed interested in attending giving them the info about the chat room.

Good. Here's the starter kit:
1 American Flag. Check.
3 Semi-automatic weapons. Check.
Sense of inflated self-worth. Check.
Okay, that'll get you started.

Also, Canada is the 51st state, so you've all been adopted (even if you don't want it. Americans need to wear that Leaf on their backpacks over in Europa).
Yes, I know you aren't Canadian, Dearest. It was for the the Abooters.
