This is amazing. I don't know what cosmic forces aligned to make this happen, but I should worship them.

Everclear is 190 + proof, Dearest. :The Force:

Edit: By the by, I'm pretty sure D'rek at some point starts randomly talking about Firefly somewhere in there, lol. Also, I don't know what the fuck I was thinking at the end of that. I blame Brood, but it was more likely blood-loss.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Oh I know that, I was just letting him know what we were drinking. There is no way I would go anywhere near ever clear. One shot and I'd be on the floor.

I have to say, I'm very pleased to have been a part of this, though as a spectator mostly. There may have been a snippet of the transcript that I missed, but thankfully Centz managed to grab it, and I will sort it out to post when I get home this evening.

Yeah, well done Shiara and Alt. I laughed out loud a lot reading that. Especially the 75% of it I didn't remember! :The Force:

Bah, I'm an idiot. Edit: Shiara, I think you should edit out D'rek's phone number part.

"I am an amazing drunk. I can keep time. I'll let you know when I'm about to falter, Shiara." Evidently, I can only successfully do 2 things at once, adding walking introduces massive amounts of physical danger.

26 shots over how long?

I can recall 30+ beer nights in college, one ill-advised attempt at demolishing a handle of Bacardi Limon with a roommate (got about... 6/7ths of the way before we quit) and several 10+ mixed drink nights in the last year, but I've never, ever done 25+ shots.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

In a shorter time frame I would say shots are easier than beers due to sheer volume.

Also a standard shot is a standard drink, whereas most beers are 1.5 standard drinks.

The formatting was a pleasure - I'm glad I could help speed things up. Next time one of these gets organised it should be the GMT crowd vs either the Aussies or the Yanks (maccy doesnt count since he was already trashed :The Force:) and I wont have to be up at 4am.

That was a great read. Mad props to everyone there - and amazing how D'rek managed to get tortellini right amidst the drunken rambling. kudos for that.
