Your fire department is both brave and strong.

And clearly lacking fires.

Over here, you are supposed to call the fire department and they come and take care of it for you (at no cost to you).

How about the loss of your manliness?

When your national male heroes are Tintin and Poirot, I dont think that even comes into the equation.

I say take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure...

Oh, come on... Someone had to say it!
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. The raid distance spray works v nicely. If you use it early or late in the day you can get most of the hive 'at home'.
Oh, and if they act up tell the hippies they are one allergic reaction away from an occupiers liability lawsuit.

- Abyss, will however note that nuking them from orbit is the only way to be sure.

obviously your only other alternative to battling these hornets is to bring it a massive colony of bees that can swarm then and then buzz there wings and raise the tempature of the hornet thus cooking and killing it....

its how mother nature does it...

I think you'd need a massive number of bees. Hornets are far tougher and larger and can tear up a bee in no time. Or at least, that's what I learned from the internet.

Well, no. It's a matter of priority. A buddy of mine who works at the F.D. uncovered a nest that took up half the attic (say, like 4m x 6m and 2m high). So you definitely do not want to handle that on your own.

Why not? Upthread clearly demonstrates that all you need is some duct tape, a platic bag or two and beer. Oh, and a bear.

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

This is true. but the beer is essential. Otherwise its hard to convince your friend to let you wrap him head to toe in ducttape.

I actually posted those in the Awesome Picture thread about a year ago or so...

So, don't feel bad Zanth.

That's a little sad. Those were only honeybees.

Yes, only a giant swarm of honey bee's on a playground in a small neighbourhood. How tragic.

Little bastards need to die out fast.

Are you fucking kidding? BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Like the guy said in his own post, he should have just gotten a beekeeper to come and get them. Honeybees aren't going to hurt anyone unless you step on them.
