So who drafted Breeze and Brady? I assume they are the two highest scorers in this league, right?

They might be up there, but it hasnt translated to winning records for their teams(Yet).

Tom Brady team in number 8 and Drew Brees team is number 11 in our league.

Slum is leading. He used the first pick on A. Peterson but that isnt only reason why he leads. He also nailed Reggie Wayne and he is playing very good matchup on the QB and defense positions. His only weakness is TE. If he dont lose this week with A.P on bye, then he looks like the number 1 seed for the playoffs.

PS. Looked up the leaders in scoring after week 8.

1. Matt Schaub 2. Aaron Rodgers 3. P. Manning 4. D. Brees 5. T. Brady 6. B. Favre 7. A. Peterson then 5 more QBs before MJD.

Well my tried and true strategy backfired for this league, I am doing well in my other fantasy leagues though, so I am not about to change it. I think this league is way too deep for my liking, I don't think I will take part in a 14 person league again. Or if I did it would have to be one with less bench spots, because it makes it too difficult to get a decent team together. I normally take part in ten man leagues. In those leagues people aren't even considering picking up the people that we are fighting over on waiver. We are really scraping the bottom of the barrel player wise here.

Other than that though, I haven't been helped by the fact that I usually rely on RB's and mine have tanked big time this year, as did a lot of RB's league wide at the outset. The only WR of my original picks that I've kept is Holmes. So I have no one to blame but myself for my picks. I never would have thought that Evans, Ginn, and Galloway would suck as badly as they have this year though. I've also had bad luck in some of my matchups. It is what it is though and I stand behind my strategy and my choices good or bad.

If we look at our leaderboard and how they drafted, then no "special" strategy has worked the best. They all did it very differently in the early rounds.

I think your idea of 1 less bench spot might be good tho. Bye weeks would force people to drop more talent than now.

It's trade central this week. No one is happy with their team!

I'm just trading twice haha. Daser wants Arizona D/ST since he's been rooting for them, and I have 4 good RB's but only 2 good WR's so I'm trading for Johnny Knox.

=)

Cancel your trade for Knox, and you can have the pick of my WR's for Mendenhall. (Jennings, Welker, Johnson, Smith)

Weak because it'd be a better deal for him? Ok.

If you are willing to trade that level of WR, you should have no trouble to get a RB of Mendenhalls quality or better.

I agree, he would be getting a better deal going with one of Dearest's WR's. As for getting another RB the quality of Mendenhall, sure that may be a possibility, but other RB's aren't currently being offered up or on the trading blocks.

Yeah. That's unfortunate. =/

Knox is still a good sleeper though, so it's all good. =)

Venge leaves out Warner, who passes 5 touchdowns. Ouch. Some pretty good matchups this week though, I'm thanking the stars for Cutler and Fitzgerald.

My WR draftpicks stink and i have no luck with those i have picked up on waivers either. Maclin is my last hope for a new starter. I hope he and Philly stumbs some Cowgirls tonight.

Well Philly was looking good for the first half, and then decided to do shit all for the second. McNabb was terrible last night, and I have never seen such pathetic attempts to get an inch for a first down! McCoy needs to be booted off that field! Sadly Maclin dropped a ton of balls last night, but he had a few catches, so hopefully he got some decent numbers for you Daser.

I've been let down by PM two weeks in a row, his WR's couldn't catch a ball to save their lives yesterday. They only showed up to play one quarter of football it seems, and they were damn lucky to win that game. Looks like KM and I are going to be down to the wire. Neither one of our teams did very well this weekend. I just have to hope Holmes finally starts producing. It would be nice if he finally got a td. I'm not going to count on it though, with his sickle cell trait and playing in the high altitude of Denver. I need to win, I want my pink jersey damn it!Posted Image

Bleh Maclin dropped a couple of easy ones. Cant trust him much either, but he is probarly still my best choice as long as Boldin is hurt.

It is wierd how up and down many of the teams are this season. They play amazing 1 week and horrible the week after.

Philly and Cardinals are probarly the worst in that way at the moment.

Well I agree on the Eagles for sure. Their defense has basically been winning games for them. I think they were doing much better with Kolb at qb. McNabb is terrible, I can't stand to watch him out there.

Well I'm happy to say I won myself a new Dallas jersey last night in my wager with KM! Despite most of my team playing like shit, I somehow managed to pull out the win. It was a close one though, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Denver dst certainly put on a good show, and of course they were helped by Big Ben's sutpidity. Every time I got a lead, they came up with a sack or an interception! Nice to see the Steelers are finally using Holmes, he had great yardage even if he didn't get a td. Big thanks to KM for all the smack talk, and the jersey, hat and bag, which should be arriving soon! Best fun I've had in a matchup so far!Posted Image

Sooo I've changed my mind about a trade offer I made (probably shouldn't be trade happy since Mendenhall's actually getting MORE carries now...). What can I do to cancel it?
