Well, let's put it this way--
No matter what, if you get a find there's a 50/50 shot it's true.

If I get a guilty find:
I can either be normal, paranoid, or insane (not naive since it's guilty).
33% chance I'm right and they're scum
33% chance I'm insane and they're inno
If I'm paranoid, there's a 50/50 (or is it 20%? I suck at probability) chance they're scum.

Vice versa with an inno find.

Sooo, who wants to go first? :p
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

I was thinking, how exactly does an insane finder works? Does an insane finder have a 50/50 chance to get it right?

If we try a reveal-fest, it's critical that we remember that
one of us the killer and will lie their ass off.

That should be the #1 thing to keep in mind.

They return the opposite of the actual. If they're scum it returns inno etc etc.

Either way, we should all do finds on the same target, or this won't work.

Insane gets a reverse find don't they? Paranoid always gets guilty, niave always inno?

Edit: Attack of the slow typist strikes again...please type more slowly...remember my poor old and probably arthritic hands.

The trouble is, though, that it if they're inno all it does is CI them and give the killer a free night. But first, shall we reveal?

I investigated Peanutbutta and was told he is scum.

Wierdly I also investigated PB (what has he done to deserve such suspicion? :p ) and was told he is inno.

Right, so if we all do a find on the same player, we should get 2 correct finds, and 2 incorrect finds. Problem is, we don't know what is what. But after the first night, we will only be 3 finders. Okay this is getting nowhere...

Edit: no way! 3 on Peanut! :p

Meta hate, I guess. Heh. Gem?

edit: x-post.

Assuming none of us are lying, I am an insane/paranoid finder and the two of you are naive and normal.

edit #2: Either that or I am a normal finder and the two of your are naive and insane.

Yes, statistically one of us is right.

Edit: but it could be you that is right too.

Hmmmm. I'd like to see what PB and Venge have as their results. If Venge also did a find on PB (ha!) I think it'd be almost certain whether he's inno or scum.

Wouldn't it be...(what's the opposite of ironic?) if I was the niave one? :p
