Interesting setup, kinda sucks for town though. Vigs are terrible for town since they lose a townie either way, directly or vig becomes scum. That means the only way town can win is if the killers kill each other off and/or through lynching and I'm not sure the game lasts enough days to lynch 4 scum with this many kills floating around. So it seems to come down to killer target choice and "luck". Looks like scum can even repopulate if a couple vigs target the same killer, that'd be funny. It does make neat mechanics for the scum though, since only one of them can win.

you're absolutely right about that. i gave the vigs three kills to tempt them, at the same time warning them that the game would be highly lethal already. Malazan mafia has always been triggerhappy, and each time people say that vigs should not use their kills until they're absolutely certain - but always, they start vigging straight of the bat.

The function for the vig with power absorbtion in this game is to make sure town roles remain town after a reveal - if a player reveals, he'll be a target for scum, who want to remove him. Since a healer is not guaranteed, the vig can then kill him, assume the role himself, and continue on.

So the question is what do i do...
Do i reveal and get it over with, or do i try and make a case...

The problem is ive looked over his posts (all like 10 of them) and the case will just be the same one that was what made me suspect him yesterday.
Its more of a gut shot feeling with the way he played than anything else.
So how do i build on the case that was presented yesterday?...i cant really. Its similar to the case on karosis...and he was inno.
Also ive pushed two successful lynches on inno's so ive lost some "thread cred"

I think an option is to reaveal that i was given a one shot find on night one (im an RI obviously )
and that last night i found kessoh as scum...and im now back to being a simple RI again.

I could say that barghast was most likely the finder and that i somehow was given his N/A as a result of his lynch!

Also, I started thinking about Ampelas and Karatallid. I can't for the life of me remember why I placed them together. I wonder if I've jsut had a hunch from early day 1 and just accepted is as truth because it has stayed around for so long. That's pretty poor play from my side. I definitly didn't like how Kara just jumped on my kesso train right away.

Hah, the server at work broke, so I cunningly disguised my need for procastrination under the veneer of logging into the web-based email from home.

I can't do that .. It's my responsibility reading through and clearing the work of everyone else at the office. So basically, I have to go through everything that ends up on my desk, no matter how long it takes me.. which I fear, considering my tempo so far, will be a while.
