Hey I like your outside of the box thinking. But I think it would be unwise on account of us all getting modkilled for ruining the game.

Makes me think Thyrllan is the first infected. It's probably not against the rules since, the DG in all likely-hood would just synapse everyone the night before his win. I'm most suspicious of the people that are pointing away from the cult like Eloth and the people that are putting into our heads the thoughts that infected are going to die alot. The strongest power is clearly complusion, DG controlling a voting block is going to get dangerous quick as the numbers dwindle.

No, I think consensus is that they should reveal in hopes there is a healer, to save them and any newly infected.

Seems like a big gamble for the infected person because he will auto-lose if there's no healer, and you were the one who jumped on Liosan for talking about how2playhealer, so I guess I got confused.

For the infected trying to help the town at his own risk, yes, he could "lose" at any time of the DG's wish, but the DG probably won't just randomly blow up the infected except as a test to find Duncan. The DG has no incentive to blow up the first person infected because if I read the scene correctly, the DG knows the first infected and thus knows one person that isn't Duncan.

I read it as that person starts off infected and that the DG knows who it is. Otherwise it makes no sense, unless you are trying to imply that the DG can infect as a day action.

Ah, yes, I remember now. I guess it makes sense, something to keep in mind - I don't see how it's a bit topic of discussion though. The big question is how do we find the DG - it's the only way to stop the infection crusade. I'm very busy, I'll be back later.


Edit: I misunderstood your post - I read it as there's one infected initially by the mods, and then the DG can infect each night. Not to be confused with the chosen replacement.

This is a good question. Is the DG forced to infect someone on the first night or does one person start infected?

I thought it was pretty clear - one player (other than the DG) starts as an infected and the default DG2.0 choice.
