is there gonna be 1 pt per say 20-25 return yards to? makes a lot more players viable for some fantasy points.

I'm not sure how much I can edit the scoring system until I register the league, for which I need to know the draft date (or rather, the date by which all drafting will have been done), Im afraid. I would prefer a return pts league though, kick off and punt returns are some of the best parts of a game I think.

Some sites will let you make a custom league to change how you want points. Some make you pay if you want anything other than the custom league. Not sure about NFL.com.

I've never used Yahoo, do you reckon that might be better to use?

I've only used Yahoo and Fleaflicker for fantasy football. Fleaflicker has semi-real time scoring for free, but is owned by AOL.
Yahoo has real time scoring if you pay for it.

Yahoo does tend to have good fantasy leagues, I've always had good experiences with them. Damn us all for not using their premiership one for the proper fantasy football

Ok, we're definitely not using nfl.com.
I've just joined a league and tried to set up my draft order, they seem to have removed the option for automated drafts to let you select what position you want take in which round. So at the moment, I've got my 50th choice QB going ahead of my 1st choice RB. Perhaps I've misread it (i'll find out after the draft tomorrow), but I think that's whats going to happen - it'll select QB first, then 3 RBs, then 3 WRs, then 2 TEs, and so on. Which is annoying, as I'll miss out on, ooh, all best players apart from QB.

Yeah, if Yahoo's bigger than 12 then you're more than welcome to join, more the merrier!
I just knew NFL.com was 12 teams so did first come first served, seeing as we're not using it anymore, anyone else fancy signing up? We will need an even number...

If you don't like the yahoo format TT, espn.com normally has decent user friendly fantasy leagues as well.

I should probably sign up for yahoo and check it out, shouldnt I? Might just register with a random league (as I have done now on nfl.com) and see what it's like, that'd probably be sensible.

I think it's a good idea, rather than waiting until we're ready to start and finding out it's not any good. Give it a try and see if you think it's going to work for our malazan league of awesomeness

Shall we do a points or Head to Head league?
Im tempted to do Head to Head, that way we get a rivalry element every week, and a bit of banter. I spose if everyone votes otherwise, I'll set up a new one with the other.
I;ve put Hetan as the password, incase we stick with it and you all need to sign up.
