I think they both look great. Unfortunately, a $30+ t-shirt (after shipping to US) is just not in my budget right now. Maybe if you have some left over later in the summer when I have more cash, I'd splurge on one. :killingme:

Alright...

Let's be clear about what is or is not going on here. We're not looking for some kind of handout (or rather, we are, but we have the paypal button for that :)) - if you don't like the shirt and/or have no use for it then don't buy it. Every once in a while somebody(ies) brings up the subject of having some Malazan t-shirts made so we thought we'd try it out since we like the idea too. If it were purely a fundraiser it would not be worth the effort but we would like some assurance that we will sell enough to cover the cost of having them made :killingme:

I understand that not everybody likes the 'Keeper' design but it seemed a good candidate for an initial experiment, as I believe it's a good t-shirt design on its own merits. If it doesn't sell well among the members then I'm sure we could pawn them off on the general public if we were so inclined. In any case, if it flops we won't be doing it again.

I love the Brood design as well, probably more than the Keeper one but I think somebody complained about light t-shirts being unflattering or something so we're just trying to accomodate as many people as possible at this point. If money was not a problem we'd have 15 designs to choose from. I find it weird that when you ask for opinions you get a few responses but when you make a decision based on what little info you have, all of a sudden everybody's got a better idea :)

Anyway, I guess we're going to have ~35 of the Keeper shirts made - say 10 medium, 10 large, 10 x-large and 5 2xl and see what happens. Does this seem reasonable? Maybe less mediums and more 2xl's as we're a bunch of fat-assed geeks? :p

I'd love to do the Brood one next but we'd have to be sure of the support as it would cost more to produce - not as expensive as the sigil but closer to £10 per shirt, meaning a £15 price tag just so you know.

We'll abandon the sigil design for the time being - perhaps eventually we can find a way to have it done cheaper.

Also, I think it's foolish to be shipping t-shirts overseas when we can just send the image by email to somebody who can have them produced and re-distribute them throughout North America. I guess the thing is to find someone over there who's willing to deal with the hassles involved, not to mention the costs. Of course, we're not going to refuse anybody if they're willing to pay for shipping but it just seems silly. To reiterate, if anybody wants to have their own shirt(s) made and wants some help, feel free to PM Hetan about it. Urb has kindly given his permission to use his work as we choose and Onrack said we could use the sigil image in any capacity we wanted when he submitted it but anything else is uncertain. I would say don't even think of using text from SE's books or professional images as your motivation will leak away before you get any kind of response from the relevant authorities.

Put me down for a keeper shirt in medium. I would say that the margins are too low and just rounding up to the nearest...Tenner seems a shame. The money made form the sale will eventually go back into the pot after all.

Er...actually, if I don't get to the gym and soon, put me down for a large keeper.

Sign me up for an XL Keeper shirt. Even without the knowledge of what it is, it's a pretty sweet-assed T-Shirt.

Hence the "if that" - medium being the smallest size possible, I was implying I'd be lucky to even for in to that. Silly Swedes and your difficulties with the subtle nuances of my poor grammar  :p

Since Mr. B won't be able to make it to the BBQ, he asked me to take a medium Keeper shirt for him, and I'd like to order one for me as well. Pleeeease...? :p

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Put me down for a large Keeper please. Think Large is probably a safer bet.

Oh, no...see I really, really want a Malazan T-shirt, and in many ways I am not at all girly...but I can't wear the keeper one, it's just too...too..masculine...haummph...*sad now*. I suppose I could follow Mal's suggestion and get my own done with the sigil... :veryangry:

I would definitely buy either. I love both designs and I like wearing clothes that no-one else knows what it means. Will happily fork out for them, plus it won't be extortionate postage to get over to Cardiff. :killingme:

But what if we are in Cardiff at the same time??? ;) ;)
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

Well that would mean that your stalking days would be over... So it's a win-win situation from this side. ;)

Are there sizings anywhere? Did my eyes just miss them on this thread. Hopefully Sombra can grab one for me (and possibly Shiara and Lucy) but need approx sizing comparisons so we don't force him to guess ;) I can put in orders for all three of us then :killingme:
