Well technically the person being symped could be the killer, but that brings up the possibility of fake-sympage.

Emurlahn's reaction is rather interesting though. His "suspicion" of Tennes was evidently 100% OMGUS. The only "aggressive" posts that Tennes made were:

Somehow I feel we are getting nowhere with all this discussion, it seems everyone is suspicious of those who attack them. Right now I am more inclined to vote for Emur for stiring shit up and thinking he knows what everything should be like.. If everyone played a certain role the same way, every game would be the same. His constant talking of symps may also be him signaling his role to his masters.

Of course, none of this makes sense - who Symps openly on Day 1, such that we wind up noticing? No one - it's all interplay, a lot of it spam, a bit more of it meta, and none of it adds up to guilt.

Good Symps stir shit up, clutter the thread with stuff that's on-topic but utter nonsense, and lead people down bad lines of reasoning. I had Tennes and Korlat pegged for that on Day 1, and Ruse is giving that vibe now.

I'm confused as to why he claimed Tennes was stirring shit up yesterday when he really only had a handful of posts. I get a small vibe that it's like he's not really looking for scum. It's like, "Who did I think were scum? Umm, oh, ah, yeah, those dead people over there. Guess I was wrong."

It also gives us a damned small baseline to work with. You really can't form an impression on handful of posts ... but on the other hand, something distinct really stands out. Unfortunately, in both cases it may have simply been the mood the person was in at the time of posting, or something, rather than a general pattern of behavior.

Yeah, I gotta agree with you guys. Scum will win this game with no opposition if people don't come on and post more. I mean, there was 5 hours went past with only 5 posts. There was no board outing, it simply died. Why? Is uni still on in Europe/Oceania? I know we've wrapped up here in the great white north. (Take off, eh). Is exams getting people down? Or are you just so happy its over and you can go on kinky vacations now? Or are there family commitments that you can't back away from? What's the problem. I have similar issues that don't affect my posting levels...only their quality...it just doesn't make sense to me that 18 people sign up for a game, then leave only 3 or 4 to actually play it. Its like a bunch of goddamn kids who are al excited over a new toy for 10 minutes and then go back to the old one, or start begging for the next one. Please, lets get the game started, for good and for truly, before we've dug ourselves into a hole that we can never crawl out of.

Busy day and pretty tied up tonight, so I can't offer much, but I should be on before the lynch.

I've been suspicious of Emur for the non-vote for a while now, and his recent post indicates he's voting based on principle, which is retarded considering he didn't vote for Telas because he thought the case was bad. So... he makes a case on someone that involves nothing actually related to the game but his notion on how the game should be played?
