Yeah, I've never like the pop-on type either. I suppose it avoids mod-kill if you're overly busy, but still.

I know this makes me overly picky, but the "here and catching up" posts don't float my boat either. I realize its polite, but it also pads the post count. I generally catch up and THEN post, since while I'm reading I won't be keeping abreast of the new conversation anyway, at least not until I make it to that point. That way I can keep my posts more relevant.

Like Spam on day 1.

One thing I gotta say is, Shadow was awfully cool about having 3 votes on. I know it's day 1 and they're joke votes, but I would have expected more indignation or at least a comment. It seemed a little too "I'll just ignore it and hope it goes away."

In case anyone was wondering, which you weren't, I had a really good time tonight, out and about with the most gorgeous, wonderful girl, dinner, drinks, club, walking around town. Only thing was, she wasn't my existing girlfriend, and I wasn't her current boyfriend, so my politically correct conscience wouldn't let it go any further than lingering kisses on the cheek (and oh lordy was my will and self-restraint tested!).

So, the question is, did I actually make a mistake by not allowing it to go any further than that?

Oh, and, uh, I think, dunno, Korlat maybe, is evil.

OK, i've tried to concentrate...there's psuedosilly-cases on Kesso and Korlat, and sort of kinda not really suspicion of Shadow from Korlat. Shadow who has the most votes so far. Well, I wouldn't say that 3 joke votes out of 9 serious ones needed is something to get uppity about, as Korlat suggest, which makes me think Korlat is trying to add more pressure to Shadow by suggesting there's actually something serious there....

I blame the uncertainty of when the game was going to start. People hopped on at work or just before going to bed for a bit, but since they weren't expecting it to have started they weren't yet planning every spare moment of free time towards the almight MAFIA just yet. That and I guess monks just aren't a good topic for spam!

I remember people saying last game had the worst day 1 spam ever. Now it's the most boring day 1 ever. Clearly, every game is worse than the one before it, in every possible way.
