It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

This pic actually makes me feel even madder about Twilight. Because of the blatant double standard.

Bringing vampires back home... to Britain
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Panel topics during the two-day event will include "Dracula Lives," "Appetites of the Undead," "Undead Victorians," "Undead Teens," "Politics of the Undead," "Undead Romance," "The Gay Undead," "Undead TV," "Undead in the New Media," "Identity, Legality and the Undead" and "Gendering the Undead."

The first one is intriguing.

The second one made me doubt the quality of the Panel. I mean describing Edward just sounds beneath a university level Panel.

If it makes you feel any better I did a Gothic paper at uni, and Dracula came out of that paper looking just a tad fabulous. Freud does bad things to literature.

Dear lord, what will they think of next? I present a new all-time low regarding everything twilight.
A sign of the impending apocalyspe.

With any luck the rings will kill them. In-built death attractors.

Oh gods, that's just pathetic. I'm all for fans loving something and buying merchandise of that but since I loathe Twilight .... can we just gather these people into a death camp and gas them or something?

Not only is that retarded, but it's ugly.
If you ever see someone with that ring, laugh at them.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner out by June, says Stephenie Meyer

* From correspondents in New York
* From: NewsCore
* March 31, 2010 8:34AM

* Twilight author pens 200-page novella
* Online for free; hardcover version also
* Story meant for Guide, but was too long

THE characters in Stephenie Meyer's novels sure know how to suck a lot of blood, but she's

The Twlight series author says she will release a 200-page novella titled The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner before the next film adaptation of the series, Eclipse, comes out on June 30.

"There was one thing I asked for: since this story had always been an extra for me, and was meant to be released with the Guide, I wanted to be able to offer it to my fans for free.

"You all have bought a ton of my books, and I wanted to give you this story as a gift. My publisher was awesome and embraced this idea.

"We still wanted to also produce a physical book with a cool cover that you can add to your set if you like, but starting at noon on June 7th until July 5th, it will also be available online at www.breetanner.com", Meyer said in a message to fans posted on her website.

Not coincidentally, Tanner has a brief role in that movie as a newborn vampire.

In a twist, the story will be available online in its entirety for free, though a hard copy will also be sold in stores.

The Twilight series has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, according to publisher Little, Brown books.

One dollar from each hard-copy book will be donated to the American Red Cross International Response Fund.

"One other aspect of this release is the plan to give a more important gift to people who really need it," Meyer said.

----------------------------------

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the bookstore. Or online. :D

Looking at the website breetanner.com (just to see WHEN it's coming out so I can avoid the stores)...
IT'S FUCKING COMING OUT ON MY BIRTHDAY.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer, take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall...
