Really? Because I've tried that, and I got accused of not defending myself...

Seems most mafia rules doesn't apply to me somehow. :Surprise:

Malaese, Grief just came to the same conclusion:

Quote

Quote

Quote

The rule about hurting your own team...

Does that apply if I post random pictures to see what they make of it?

Well, if you think that will help finding the scum team...

Personally, I think that'll just confuse them and make them waste time, but I've been wrong before

JA

Damn, just realised i've got the whole weekend break...

Well, for his past SPAMBOT fame, nobody will cry for him

D'riss is planning a reveal-fest:

Quote

Right now we aren't under fire at all, which is good because we are inno, but if we lynch town again, we MUST lynch all three scum consecutively to win the game. Revealing could get us NKd fast because we represent CIs and two-of-five required votes.

The biggest reason I see to reveal is to get other people to reveal to set up a winning voting bloc.

1) We can pretty much VPI Fener at this point because you're right, a counter-reveal-vig would discredit him and nobody has done that. 2) So with three of us VPI/CI, if we can get one other LIVING pair to admit being paired with true coding (BB and UB can't comm off thread to code), OR if we can find two pair partners whose partners have died and can confirm with coding, that's a VPI/CI vote bloc for the REST OF THE GAME.
3) Even if we lynch a townie today, if the scum kills one of the bloc, we still control the vote at 4-votes-of-7-required.

Obviously, once Big Ben is lynched, the whole fucking logic goes out the window and I would actually expect him to move into a bloc voter, BUT we can still lynch one of the remaining 'non bloc people' as Uncle Ben (although yes, lynching BB is preferable but will be nearly impossible after he switches).

What do you think?

No seriously I've tried the not responding thing, it didn't work.

The lovers, still pondering their reveal:

Quote

Quote

Quote

Well P-S cleared it up. If you reveal, I will reveal in turn. I assume you want to reveal both name and 'roleless inno' posts?

Like I said, the roleless inno thing is a big nono at this point. If we're RI paired, it stands to reason that any other pair is roled. I'm actually considering revealing us revealing as paired healers, I'm just worried if there are any real healers out there they dont catch that we're trying to draw the NK. If we out the roles (even if it's just by saying we're RI), it will make things way easier for the scum.

Since we're both still alive, proving we can comm off thread is how we should go about the reveal. Someone will suggest that we're BB and UB if all we use are the codes. Gimme a couple of minutes to set something up and see how people react to my D-day statement.

Take the lead, alt146, and I'll reveal as/when requested. Like I said and you quoted in your sig: I like you, you doesn't afraid of anything

But if we can CI, any REAL paired/unpaired healers should realize immediately that we are just drawing NKs unless they are just bad players.

Quote

Quote

I'm worried it might be too obvious we're RI if we just reveal out of nowhere. We're not under any suspicion at the moment, I say let's wait and see how people react once they realise how important today is. I should be around for the rest of your afternoon. With the timer frozen there's no need to rush anything.

I'll be here watching and waiting. Timer frozen is a good thing for us right now, gives time for people to reveal, but I'm worried someone will reveal paired healer(s) and then we're either fighting with them for paired healer or calling Korv a liar (by revealing paired guard). Ideally, someone/some people will just reveal they are roled and have proof and we can join the chorus.

Aaah, that beautiful moment where you wonder if the plan you decide to put in action is not the stupidest thing evar and will come to bite you for games to come.

JA

Just a quick question on selective quoting:

I don't believe there is anything against it as such in the rules.

However, I can see why it may be considered against the spirit of the rules.

I will stop if you think I should not be doing it.

Please clarify.

-Grief.

I have no idea...I can't see any harm in it, but anyone have any notion of JA's feelings on the matter? All contributions gratefully accepted.

No seriously I've tried the not responding thing, it didn't work.

Same goes for me, I get pressured and voted on when I don't reply.

When I do reply (and I tend to write longish posts ), I always get 'wow, he jumps really high!' as an answer, no matter of the timing - early or late... so I answer early before people combine pressure votes + votes for jumping high on me, although the reply usually does satisfy.

Cool biggrin.gif

It's not as fun as posting pics though.

Funnily, I had been holding back on posting much, and was only 4th or so post count wise.
And now that I have been "silenced", I am first laugh.gif

Something is wrong here...people enjoying mafia...  :p

Re last vote count. I C&P the header from last P-S update, but C&P the actual count from mafia manager...which was pointless as nothing had changed!

Oh well, better to be thorough I guess.

In box is empty, vote and time count done (a little while ago, but only two posts since...with nothing in them). Thread v quiet...(famous last words!)

Well Grief is kind of right here - it's the noob who is Big Ben. And I can see his point - if Korv was going to guard Gamelon last night, the kill wouldn't have gone through anyway, so he might as well have left Korv to be lynched tomorrow. But then I guess if they don't lynch Korv tomorrow, then Gamelon is in trouble again. Still, until I thought about it I didn't come to that conclusion...wonder if Grief is going to be able to get his point across being silenced and all...

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

also, I must say I'm quite pleased with how Shin's playing.
There's no way in hell I'd ahve been able to stay this quiet and friendly, and under the radar if I was the one playing BB

Poor forum was poorly all day?

Nothing changed in thread, no messages in inbox.

Might be able to be back on later, but it is Eurovision - big event in our house! Even I agreed to a takeaway .

I think that we should just lock the thread on the weekends. I remember that Gem did that in one of her first games modding and it worked pretty well. Might not be a bad idea going into the summer months. During the winter most of us are stuck inside anyway so it is much more likely that the majority of people will have internet access. But when it is nice out forgettabout it.

-Vengeance not bias against weekend playing at all in any way what so ever.
