If you need any help running it, I'd definitely lend a hand there. I'm not familiar with with WH40k setting, but I'm a moderator and have 4000 posts on the RP board I frequent, so I like to imagine that I know what I'm doing. Plus, special (mod-made) characters are always fun to play.
EDIT: GMT -6. Generally, I should be able to be on from around 6/8 PM GMT to 6 AM GMT, with even more time on weekends.
Excellent resume, hehe. I'm still undecided if I'll need a secondary mod. It certainly could be good for keeping rules checks and the action flowing, so I'm probably going to take you up on that offer, just in case.
But if you'd rather play, that's also fine, as I *should* be able to cover most of it, and looking at the time zones we have quite a lot of overlap with each other and the nominal 'dead hours' of most folk...we'll see.

GMT-6 /-5, depending on the timeframe of December.
I'm fairly familiar with 40k lore, but 0 RPing exp.
Well, you're more than welcome to join, but you may want to observe how things go down in the initial run, too. It helps to see what it's like. Check the "How it works" post for an example if you haven't already.
OK, by my count, that makes 11/12 who're gonna be free before December, and a whopping 15 who are free after December. That works fine for me, the more the merrier, but I will be splitting y'all up more often with those kinds of numbers.
I'm going to put up the necessary W40K background and probably the character creation mechanics/requirements today, and then you guys can get to building your characters/asking questions, and then I'll see about running a 'practice' mission (integrated into the overall plot, of course...) once we've got enough peeps with chars for that to go down.
Yay for turnout!
