Okay so Kesso jumps off the train and doesn't get back on after the code is discovered. Instead, we get these gems:

Well, hold on.

You want to lynch Shadow, I want to lynch Shadow, Emur's vote is already there. Three is a decent size to begin with...

You, sir are being awfully pushy

If I didn't have you pegged as Telas' symp already, my vote would be gong on you in a second.

Oh yeah, Telas, that guy to whom the only link with me there is is that we both started rhyming for a while at the beginning. God we're so evil. And yes, I am being pushy. If it looks like we'll deffo not lynch D'riss, then I want to lynch my suspect dammit.

it doesn't take much to get the your sympy message across. Once you're done, you can go stirring up random lynches everywhere, as long as your master's safe.

Argument with Meanas. As described before, if Meanas was NKd it may have been to put suspicion on Kesso....

Guess we have that sorted out for now. I'm going out for a while, so I'll be back later.

What are you getting at? When it happened, I simply thought he couldn't be bothered/couldn't decode it.

So Kesso basically sees the decoding but doesn't get back on the train. Why would he do this? I have a few guesses.
  • Kesso is scum killer and thought D'riss was a scum symp?
  • Kesso was inno and thought D'riss was inno?
  • Kesso is a scum symp thought D'riss was a scum symp?
#1 seems way unlikely. Why add suspicion to yourself by not revoting?
#2 seems the most likely. Figured D'riss was just trying to stay alive and thought the reaction of posting a crap code was likely for an inno (figuring a scum would fake reveal maybe?).
#3 is an intriguing possibility, because it means a finder could investigate him and he'd come back inno, but I'm not sold because that means Kesso has to take a full day of major suspicion and survive a lynch and then the finder has to reveal to make the case.

Most likely, Kesso is being set up, but I wouldn't VPI him yet because he could be setting himself up, too.

edit Xpost: Sil, I'm saying that Kesso deliberately ignored the decoding. It was already done and votes were being put back onto D'riss during half of the quoted posts. My reasoning is here in this post.

However, in response to my own above post, why would he (Kesso) not speak up and say, "Hey guys, I think D'riss is inno, only an inno would come up with a code like this and not fake reveal an important role." That's the big question I have on him.

I very much doubt you have alted me Silanah, especially if you think I am in a strange timezone.

Having done a re-read, I don't have anyone pinned down as being downright scummy. I was a little suspicious of Silanah just because you seem to be a little overbearing, trying to be a little pushy, which always makes me paranoid. However, I am gonna stick by my initial suspicion of Gamelon, mainly based on his jumping on the "town" mention, and claiming that CI'd him.

Vote Gamelon

Bearing in mind that he was gunning for Telas the whole time, and only switched to try and achieve a lynch for us, then didn't supply the hammer, I reckon #2 is the most likely.

Guard, BP, Vig, Healer, Finder, Symp, Killer.

Interesting how inno is never mentioned...

An inno would just accept his lynching if he was roleless; unless D'riss had a role and was too scared to (fake)reveal it, then he really wrote his own death scene...

I must be dreaming looking at Silanah.

Compare his posts yesterday and today, it really makes me wonder. Are you a killer that starter RPing as a noob for fun/tactics, and now decide that's it's too risky and take things into you own hands?

So what you're saying is either he's a killer or he's a symp (and you're implying there are two symps and D'riss was one).

I think you're forgetting that by the time D'riss actually got lynched, nobody really cared about him any more. He'd been fucking around and messing with our heads. Probably an inno move with hindsight, but I for one wasn't even contemplating that aspect at the time.

I find that an interesting thought Galain,

because if that is true, we have one new player here, and I am willing to bet it isn't Sil. Honestly, based on what I've seen I'd guess that Tennes is our new player.

It feels like we're clutching at straws so far, tbh. I'm not feeling the Sil-love (or lack of), but then I have no strong view on that either way.

Sticking with my vote on Tennes for now. Some may think he's a noob... maybe, but I'm worried he's low-flying scum.

Yes. Me and D'riss were paired killers, and now that my partners dead, I've given up the noob game and am going to single-handedly win the game for team evil. Obviously.

I really hate when people compare Day One play to Day Two play... One is serious, the other is RP. We are allowed RP for a bit, then get serious.

Have to admit those early posts struck me as nothing more than day 1 bullshit. It wasn't until Korv came and stirred the pot that things got serious - up until that point all of us were spamming shitebags.

Yeah I agree, I didn't really see anything that struck me as playing noob. It was just some Princess Bride RP which was quite acceptable for the first few hours and everyone was doing it.

Usually that is what day 1 is for in the beginning.
