I saw "Stardust" last night. I know Illy hates it but I really loved it. Rober De Niro had me laughing my head off.

Ahh! Twillight has now come to Denmark. It's being reviewed on television and all the test subjects they ask fucking loves it! Even the guys! THE GUYS!!?? I had forgotten how horrible this is, but they don't come with a single criticism, one of the girls even dared to compare it to Buffy the Vampire Slayer! RAGE!

Well, at least the critic slams it. Hard!

She is such a slut for the vampire penis!

My dear Apt, do you have something against sparkling, shirtless vampires and frequent major close-ups of Kristen's sulking, pouty face?

I watched the movie Sex Drive

It's kinda like Road Trip, but not as funny. Still, I laughed quite a bit. It was good fun.

One of the guys is comedic gold! Be on the lookout for Clark Duke. Funny as shit. A pudgy dude who scores the ladies.

Nick and Norah's Infinate Playlist.... Well it killed 2 hours, but I'd like them back.

Gran Turino - Slow starter, interesting middle, kinda puttered off at the end. Would have turned it off had the amusing racial one liners not held my attention. The balls needed to call someone Yum Yum to their face are beyond my imagination.

Changling - Sad and long. Angelina looks hot in those 1920 derby hats though. Good story and worth watching on a rainy day.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Damn. I was hoping N & N was good, I had planned on renting it. Worth a rent if you are a Cera fan?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I laughed my ass off watching Gran Torino....

An eighty-year-old Eastwood scaring a bunch of thugs, calling them spooks, while getting respect because he's just that bad ass...

Not so much a film, but I watched "Grindhouse Trailers" last night. Best dvd I've seen in ages, at first I didnt realise they were real trailers, I thought they were jokes. But no! Funny as hell, and now I have a hankering to watch "Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS" and the superb sequel "Ilsa: Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks". Or possibly even "Love Me Deadly", the story of a woman's struggle with necrophilia.

I watched Still Waiting, the sequel to the cult-classic Waiting - you know, the one w/ the Mac guy and Van Wilder...

Meh...there's a good reason it was a straight-to-DVD release. Had some funny parts...some boobs, recycled jokes.

The Andy Milonakis rap at the end was the best part of the whole flick. Can't seem to find it on the internets anywhere yet...or i'd post it.

Just watched Taken on DVD, enjoyed it just for how much of a badass Liam Neeson can be. He should play more vigilantes.

Is Taken actually good? Or is it another Equilibrium thing? I have never read a more hilariously scathing review of a film than I did for Taken in Empire magazine.

Meh...it's what it is. It's not going to win any awards, that's for sure.

It's basically 75 minutes of Liam Neeson kicking ass. 15 minutes of setup/resolution.

If you enjoy inventive ass-kicking, you'll get a kick out of it. It has no real depth/redeeming qualities.

Mezla... That review is something of a classic imo. I haven't seen one quite like it for a long time. The reviewer leaves you in no doubt that they feel the film is a waste of the time of everyone associated with it. I'm almost surprised they didn't finish it up by suggesting that all copies of it should be burned and never spoken of again...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Bertrand Russell

I think it may be a Equilibrium thing. It's a well told revenge flick a la the action films they made in the 70s and 80s. Van Damme, Stallone, Segal, etc. could all have played Liam Neasons role, but Liam Neason just gives the father so much more passion.

I loved the film, it was fucking awesome
