Saw Serenity about a week ago. Pretty good, Joss Whedon gets the last laugh over the sh*thead executives at Fox who ensured the series would fail. It did feel a bit rushed, though - we never learn much about why River was conditioned the way she was.
Spoiler
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Wow... Wallace and Gromit has to be one of the funniest films I have ever seen... I was crying with laughter by the end of it! I especially like the "AY UP" magazine bit... it was a definite roflmao moment!

Saw corpse bride.
Shoulda called it grim fandango - the movie.
Not as good as nightmare before christmas, bit contrived, bit flat, bit short, but still good.

I really enjoyed them... I had seen Snatch before but not Lock Stock. I want to see Revolver now...
I saw the LOTR FOTR extended DVD last night... I was thinking, every time Frodo puts the rign on, doesn't he go into Saurons warren?

Steer clear of revolver.
Its nothing like lock stock or snatch.
Its also self indulgent, incomprehensible and BORING.

Went to see Saw2 last night had high hopes...alas was let down by a woeful, inadequate and pitiful sequel. Which lack the ingenuity and luster of the first saw.
My advice would be don't bother.

Finally saw Sin City the other day. It's rather entertaining. Nice to see all the women get a good slap ... for their own good of course. No, hang on........
And I saw Serenity yesterday. It's really good. Are they going to make any sequels?

They havent announced anything yet but considering the success of serenity i'd say its likely.
I saw broken flowers. Pretty good if you're into this sort of movie.
Though dont expect it to be lost in translation 2.

I watched 'Immortal' by Enki Bilal yesterday. Even though I didn't get half of the story I think the movie is... hard to describe... but awesome on some levels. The visuals, the music and the world Bilal (based on his graphic novels)built are just breathtaking. Kudos, this man really has some imagination
Oh, and as an aside, Linda Hardy is one beautiful woman

Yep its the new one.
Still in cinemas (in the UK anyway).
It also blows. The only good thing you can say about is that at least ritchie is trying something new and not just re-doing lock, stock in a million variations.

'Immortal' is a science fiction fantasy mix taking place in New York in the year 2095. Horus, the Egyptian God of the Sky , has returned to Earth and has 7 days to save his immortality; he has to find a woman with one of the rarest powers, the power to procreate with gods. That's the story in a nutshell
The movie is a French production (in English though) based on some of Enki Bilal's cult (at least in France) graphic novels. It seems that he had quite some nifluence with his visual style, since the style of movies such as Blade Runner, The Fifth Element and BladeII were partly influenced by his work (according to the DVD commentaries). Sadly the movie never got the attention it deserved imho, I stumbled upon the DVD by chance after having seen a trailer some years back.
