Here is the trailer in question. I think it looks solid too...but then I liked AGE OF EXTINCTION a lot, minus of a few weird story hiccups. I'm just disappointed that at 5 films in we've not yet seen Unicron...or an earth where the TF's have been so integrated into society that we've begun to use their tech ALA TF: The Movie (1985).

But yeah, this looks decent. Wonder what makes Optimus bad?

Optimus was tricked/believes that he is the good guy/Optimus has a robot vision of the future/some robot ghost spoke to him of the future/Optimus travelled to the future and is trying to save the past/Optimus is doing what needs to be done/It was all a dream/Starscream shot JR.

Put all of that in a blender and smear it across a piece of paper, then throw a hundred million dollars at it.

Two things about that trailer:

1) WHAT THE FUCK IS ANTHONY HOPKINS DOING IN A TRANSFORMERS MOVIE!?

2) Is it just me, or has Bay severely dialed down on the shakycam here?
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

I finally saw IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.

Yes, it has taken me nearly 40 years to see it.

It was good. I enjoyed it a lot.

It's about time!

My mom and I (and most of the siblings) watch it every year in December. It's a family ritual to vocally express our intense inner cringe at the teenage sections with 36-year-old James Stewart pretending to be 15 :(

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Ha!

Yeah, I can see why it's become such a staple and tradition of the holidays. The HD remaster also makes it look stunning for a movie that's 70 years old.

Footloose is a terrible movie. None of its component pieces make sense and you can tell nobody white was attached to this movie because the dancing is awful too.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I was thrown by that comment too...I think he meant to get angry about something else and rage blinded his spelling?

Also, FOOTLOOSE, the original anyways was best summed up by Roger Ebert in his 1984 review: He called it "a seriously confused movie that tries to do three things, and does all of them badly. It wants to tell the story of a conflict in a town, it wants to introduce some flashy teenage characters, and part of the time it wants to be a music video."

So if you are referring to the recent remake, perhaps it was just being true to the original being terrible? LOL And make no mistake, the original IS terrible.

The 84 movie with Bacon is what I'm talking about.

There's no rhythm with the music displayed beyond the "teach the best friend how to dance montage". Every dance scene is really spazzy and isn't much removed from Elaine's dance on Seinfeld.

Look at Soul Train, the Bandstand shows, and all the variety shows from long before that to see better dancing. It's just bad dancing and choreography. Also, there's no non white people in the movie. Probably not in the choreo side either.

As a kind of parody of itself, and because it has the Rock in it....I'm not as offended by this trailer/movie as I thought I'd be. That's not an endorsement of any kind, merely the notion that this MIGHT be worth viewing on demand rental.

The trailer made me laugh so I am probably going to like it. I like the premise even though it sounds a little played out.

Disappointed that the trailer didn't have a hot 2016 remix of the original Baywatch theme.

It pretty much looks like (according to a friend of mine) 23 JUMP STREET...and that's exactly the vibe it gives off.
